Xfinity RACE thread --- Iowa

Oh my.... Turned the thing on a few minutes ago. They were gettin' ready to restart 'n Yeley was leadin'. That was scary.
 
Sadler has been pretty good as of late, he knows his career is on the line.

Josh Berry has been very impressive, I hope he steps up to Xfinity soon.

I've been thinking this awhile. I was never sure how much was him and how much was the truck before. For some reason, I never got the feeling he is an insane talent along the lines of (as I feel) Larson, for example.

In other words, i'm leaning towards thinking you may be right!
 
Place Jones or Suarez in the Roush, I bet neither would be any better.

Got to get the most of what you have.

Everybody is impressive until you take a step back.

It's not just tonight. He doesn't seem to have advanced much this season over last. I don't have the numbers so I could be wrong. I'm not lumping him in with Townley, but he doesn't seem to be keeping up with Suarez and he's definitely not Jones.

He's also in roush equipment vs JGR. I think it speaks for itself.

Suarez is talented and so is Jones.

Put Bubba back in the 18 and watch him beat them. Roush is the fourth best car in the field, but look at Armstrong. Dude is in the top 10 with good equipment because he has Winfield as a sponsor. Anybody can win in a JGR car atm.

Where Reed is at, Bubba is usually a nice couple of spots ahead of him. Roush just does not have the cars to win and I want them to win. Reed and Buescher won ahead of him, but I think Bubba can finish the job.

He just has to finish, he has the skill to be a star, but he has to show it. I will agree with that, but raw talent he's up there with Jones IMHO.
 
But I will say I've enjoyed this race more than I've enjoyed any other xfinity race this season. Granted I haven't watched very many of them.

I'm certainly not writing Bubba off, but he seemed to do better in the same equipment last year. Either Roush has lost even more of its edge, or Gibbs has really stepped it up more than I thought.
