Hope we get some good racing in tonight.

Open at the green. Or maybe a bit before. :D

Went to see "The Secret Life of Pets" --- it's hilarious. They even worked in some Monty Python
and "Grease". But not giving away any spoilers. hehehe

Wow, there's NOBODY there :(

Go Derrike Cope, former Daytona 500 Champion, and a huge threat to win tonight!

First 5 laps were good....been a snoozer ever since. Typical Kentucky.

Listened to the National Anthem...then had to do some stuff...but I want to give my regards to the Gal that sung it...Awesome.

They destroyed this racetrack. ****** hell why did they turn 1-2 into Charlotte?

Last years cup race here was one of the best of the year. Then they tore the asphalt off the top of it.

Too early to say they destroyed the track. It's going to take 3 or more years to find out for sure.

Agreed. I think I gave last year's Cup race a 9/10. New asphalt + high down force cars = underwhelming racing no matter the track.

Competition caution...most everybody took two tires...KyBu out first...not sure what lap it is.
After pit stops, Sadler up to 2nd and Dillon up to 4th, which breaks up the Gibbs trio at the top. We'll see how long that lasts.

Kyle still in 1st, of course.
This right here is why this is the best NASCAR board on the net. Thanks guys.

But but but turns 1 and 2 are two degrees steeper than 3 and 4 now!!!!! Soooo extreme!!!!!!!

The top of 3-4 came in slightly better than 1-2 last night from what I could tell.

Also, you can really see the difference in how little they are all out of the throttle in 1-2 now.

Well whatever they did to the track it certainly doesn't look like a "one-groove" track...these guys are all over the place..at least a few laps after the re-start.

It was the same for the truck race last night - hope it works the same way for Cup.

If they wanted half the track to be so different than the other, why not make 1 and 2 fifteen degrees, and 3 & 4 something wildly different like 30 degrees? That would be uniquely awesome

Except for instead of super high banking, reduce it on once side.

Or just don't **** with it :p

I'd like to see more than exciting restarts.. I'd also be happy if the cup finish is half as decent as the truck finish.

So it is a deal where the tires can't last for a full fuel run? (bolts aside)
