Xfinity RACE thread --- Martinsville

Sheldon might want to turn in his credentials before leaving the track. It’s going to be awkward for him at the shop.
I mean…because of him both RCR cars miss the championship race. Stupid, no?

Maybe if RCR could’ve managed their drivers at all this year it wouldn’t have wound up like it did. It’s pretty clear there wasn’t any sort of communication going on prior to that restart.
You must not heard the convo from the gerbils. They had plenty of conversation on MRN.

I would think RC or Petree would have been on radio with each driver relaying the bigger picture of them trying to make championship race. I didn’t listen to team radio so I can’t make a definitive statement but team leadership looks to be missing here but I kind of think Creed went into business himself

They talked a bunch, but with the Allgaier and Custer battle up for grabs, it was decided every man for themselves. They had the possibility of knocking Hill out if he ran second.

Inexcusable not to have awareness of the championship situation on the most high leverage restart of the year. Absolutely inexplicable from RCR. It’s easy to blame the guy who’s already out the door when apparently everyone else had mentally checked out of the event.
Once again...much like the winner of the race, Creed was saying that Hill would be ok if he finished second. Hills bunch and he says it in the clip wasn't sure BECAUSE of the Allgaier and Custer points situation.
