Xfinity RACE thread --- Michigan

They only take points away from regulars. Could be looking at Hemric’s first win but instead we are watching Austin McDab celebrate beating the minor leaguers.

This style points series is worthless with cup drivers racing in it.

I didn't say they did now did I? No. I said if a Xfinity driver won that locks them into the playoffs.
You guys are sold on this playoff BS.
It’s not racing, man. :(

I hate the playoffs, but it's the rules of the sport and it is what it is. I mean I don't see you complain about Kyle's championship he only got because of the BS Playoffs. :idunno:Just because I point out the rules, don't mean I'm sold on them. Don't put words in my mouth.

But it’s ok to cry about Cup guys in the Xfin?
Your own words, “...but it's the rules of the sport and it is what it is...”

Congrats to Austin Dillion, beat them on strategy and weather. Sadler loses his first place position

Wouldn't be the first time that Austin Dillon has gotten a bull**** win this year. :D

I just hated one won. :p I rather them have went back racing sooner, so they had more laps to race til the rain came. It's stupid when these Cup guys win. I think it's a dumb rule, both of them are dumb rules. But if you're going to have a win in and your in system, maybe it's best to not let Cup guys come down and screw that up.

Not many people can say that they have won and that they are in.

Cry about any rule you want. That doesn't automatically mean anyone is 'sold on' any of the ones they're not actively complaining about.
Rules is rules. It’s ok to complain as long as you don’t bag on someone that is complaining about something different than you’re complaining about.
I was ok with the whole thing today without mentioning it. This is where it started: “...
Ugh :/ damn Cup drivers. I hate this bs...”
That’s what initiated my response.
When it gets too buggy for me I watch something else. NASCAR isn’t as important to me as it once was.

Well to me it was just a tad too slow. I think they’re on to something however because Kyle Busch was really making moves, but you need horsepower to actually pull it off.

When KyBu almost passed Dillon and Hemric on the same turn it really got the crowd going however. We needed some more green flag laps to rubber in the track and that never happened unfortunately. Didn’t get a good chance to see what this package could fully do

Like I've said before, this is the great equalizer. I'm not at all surprised Austin Dillon won again. When his car is as good as everyone else's, he can run with these cats. So much talent.

Didn't like this race. Speeds were way down and that's what makes Michigan one of my favorite tracks.

This is not great...plates and great do not belong in the same sentence or even the same thought. This was terrible racing, manufactured BS.

I'm so glad they found a formula that makes Austin Dillon look like a more impressive talent at more tracks.
LOL, you're savage. BTW, Yahoo Sports agrees with you. They looked at all of Austin Dillon's wins since 2016 (three Xfinity and two Cup), and showed that all five are fluky, lucky wins...

Is Austin Dillon the luckiest driver in NASCAR?

That Xfinity Series win [at Michigan yesterday] was Dillon’s fifth win in either the Cup Series or Xfinity Series since the start of the 2016 season. All five of those races have come under extremely fortunate and/or unique circumstances. Let’s take a look. This could be the craziest stretch of wins in NASCAR history....
