I don't even know what you say if you're Zilisch. Dominate for eight straight months and put together an inarguably championship deserving season and a lose it to a nonsense format concocted in the interest of media profit. Gutting.
 
Walking back to my car right now... Here is a random thought- wonder what Ryan Newman is thinking right now? 😆 He showed NASCAR this is a complete crapshoot a decade plus ago. NASCAR is just playing Russian roulette if they keep this stupid form of playoffs

NASCAR has nobody to blame but themselves. They’ve sold out the identity of their sport. They deserve all the backlash. And the continued decline in popularity and viewership.

He drove circles around them all year and he gets nothing.
 
It is the equivalent of Nascar proudly taking a dump on the drivers and the fans.

A disrespect for the work of the competition and the intelligence of the fans.
They dont even believe in their product enough to avoid the self inflicted degradation.

Yeah it would have been a really good race, Love would have won his second race of the season and we all know Zilisch was the champion...see.. no headache.
 
At least Love drove a great race and didn't just win it in a late restart.

Can't blame him for using the system to his advantage. It's not his fault champions are crowned the way they are, the playoffs are older than Jesse is.
