I would say its safe to say everyone that does not work at NASCAR HQ knows just how utterly dumb it is.
I supported the loose tire caution at The Glen.
I have no idea why this one was ignored. Stupidity comes to mind.
If caution clocks come to Cup, that might be the thing that kills my interest in NASCAR racing altogether.
The egg timer and the chase go together like wine and cheese.
It has in the Truck SeriesIf this happens, I will quit. Pit strategy is one of the more captivating aspects of Cup racing and the caution clock would completely kill that.
The only race Cup drivers can't compete in is Homestead, I believe.
Lots of points racing to be done in the first three rounds.
"The 16 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers who qualified for the 2015 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup will be ineligible to compete in the 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship 4 races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.(NASCAR)(1-19-2016)"The only race Cup drivers can't compete in is Homestead, I believe.

You know, I want to that happen so NASCAR can see how silly some of their ideas are, but I damn well know they wont acknowledge it anyways, so theres that. So, we could have a Chase where Kyle Busch wins almost every race leading into Homestead....... I can't even.
Like I said, I couldn't possibly care any less about this series if I tried.
I have to be honest, it would really hurt my interest too.If caution clocks come to Cup, that might be the thing that kills my interest in NASCAR racing altogether.

I kind of would like to see the CWTS go back to having a 10 minute half time break.I don't hate it in the Truck Series as much as I thought I would. Pit strategy really isn't an element of Truck Series racing since cautions are a little more frequent in that series anyway. Besides, in the races I've watched, I think I've only seen the clock expire maybe four times. There's usually a caution right around the time it expires.
Xfin is a Cup feeder series. The Xfin drivers would never make it to the Cup series without Cup team developmental programs. What I hate also about X series is all the big name cup owners in there. I'd like to get rid of them too. Even if you do get rid of Brad, Kyle, Denny and the rest you still have Cup owners with unlimited resourecs
Yep, a stupid move. They delayed the caution until after the last few cars completed their pit stops under green, then threw the yellow (just as NBC went to commercial). Wrong thing to do IMO.I supported the loose tire caution at The Glen.
