Xfinity RACE thread --- Road America

Finally got to see an Xfinity race and my one big comment is the "booth". They sure did a better job than those over hype idiots in the cup series.
First time winner is also appreciated. I would not call him a cup driver although he does drive there part time.

Another miserable race with cheating, unsponsored cars and ratings rivaling high school sports

Love seeing first time winners, damn fun watching him get his first win, what a very exciting lap few laps, hometown boy brings home the win!!

Thrilled to see McDowell win. My first memory of him was his horrific qualifying wreck at TMS in 2009. I remember at the time I was thinking "why did MWR bring this guy up, all he does is wreck". Then in 2011 Gibbs put him in the 18 at Road America, and my god did he kick ass, led the whole thing till he gave it away on a late restart. This kid has never had a consistent full time ride or top equipment, but he's a pretty decent driver and it was nice to see him get redemption today.

I thought he and another got a full time ride with young Mr. Yates. LOL

Brendan was the story, he was driving like he stole it on the last restart. McDowell was fun to watch as well. Overall a very good race.

Brendan is such a fun guy to watch on the road courses.

He gives it all he can every race, not the fastest, but damn he's so likeable and can wheel a car.
