She did exactly what her team told her to do and to try and keep
the 98 Herbst attached to her bumper and when she lifted a bit
to do that he went around her on the outside. Live and learn.

She went from 31st to 4th in the matter of a couple cautions.
So yeah, theres that.

Her spotter was playing the prevent defense thing instead of
just letting her mat the thing straight to the finish line. Like a few of the
veteran divers say, "playing prevent defense at Talladega usually prevents
you from winning". It bit McDowell. Just mat it and keep it straight; let the chips
fall as they may. It looked like she wasnt mashing the gas but in fact she was
lifting to go back and keep the outside line together as requested by her
spotter. I thought it was thrilling for her to be that close to the front at the
end of a race.
