Xfinity Series 2025

Anyone else tired of Almirola? The guy was mediocre in Cup with 3 wins in 16 years, now he's part time in a top shelf Xfinity car and taking points away from the guys that need it, including his teammates. I don't mind the guy, just hate seeing him taking wins away from guys battling for a title or moving up the ladder including his own Gibbs teammates. I guess I am just not a fan of Cup guys retired or not running in the lower series, especially when it's "playoff" time.

Sorry for the mini-rant

"With a blistering qualifying lap (96.503 mph), #88-Connor Zilisch won the pole for the Blue Cross NC 250 Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL by nearly half a second. It’s his eighth pole of the season, with five of those coming on road courses.
JR Motorsports swept the top five positions with #7-Justin Allgaier turning the second-quickest time (95.984 mph). #9-Connor Mosack (95.668 mph), #8-Sammy Smith (95.472 mph) and #1-Carson Kvapil (95.390 mph) are the rest of the top five."

It's funny that Jr motorsports is so good at the road courses when JR himself sucked at them!
It takes a combined effort from him and Kelly tbh, but they have their dad's sense on the business side of things etc. Know exactly what they are doing and they do it right.

Also I hated them (in the same sense as some hate playoffs etc - I still watched) as kid but watched F1 etc. I'm pretty sure that was why. :XXROFL:

Incidentally, this was the second week I noticed the CW booth using the term 'natural caution' to refer to yellows that were for safety reasons, as opposed to stage breaks. I'm surprised NASCAR hasn't ix-nayed that.
