Zanardi is back again

Starting with this season, every DTM manufacturer was allowed to field an additional entry once in the season. Ekström drove for Audi at the season opener at Hockenheim and Rally World Champion Sebastien Ogier will drive for Mercedes at the season finale.
BMW signed Zanardi to drive for them at his home track in Misano this weekend.
That will also be the first night races in the DTM's history. Both races will start at 10:15 pm CET (4:15 pm ET).

I don't know how this race went and how he got there, but Zanardi is currently running 5th.

The 51 year old, double-amputee rookie driver actually finished the race in 5th. Wow.

Zanardi is one tough Son of a Gun. I hope his tenacity rubs off on some young folks around the world. Talk about never give up never give in, he is the guy.
