It's easy to pick their positive attributes but what are their downfalls. What could they do better?

I have to be careful what I say incase Allenbaba shows sends this link to Kurt. :D

Couldn't find a replacement Crew Chief as good as Ray Evernham had been.

Also the CoT favored a driver who likes an oversteering car, (now that the Gen6 is faster in understeering trim he's back to his old form!)

I wish Danica had spent some more time in the lower series. I love her passion, but wonder if sometimes she is over cautious and gets into trouble because of it.

Kyles downfall?

Patience and humility.

He has bucket loads of both unfortunately.

.
Thought you were going to say "Not caring" :D

I think our thread regarding the matter cured Jeff. There were so many intelligent insights that caused Jeff to reflect and reconsider his priorities.

I am thinking he finally just thought I am going to be a happy hostage, and since I am forced to race anyhow I might as well do my best.
Now we are seeing a rejuvenated Samson's wrath on the Philistines.

RF members should take pride ♡ in helping and redirecting Jeff.

I think on Matt, it is not pushing hard enough at certain times and taking a few more risks, but, Matt has always been a very calculated driver and done quite well at it.

A great driver imo, he just stayed with Rousch to long.
Trying to win championships in a Ford is like a man wanting to have children without a woman, his ability to get a championship in a Ford is self evidence of supernatural abilities.

He should have flirted more with Hendrick motorsports and let them know he was available. He would have won several titles imo.

Harvick is my favorite, but without question a hot head. Just how many times has he asked for a butt kicking.
But I still root for him.

I would say Kurt and Kyle suffer from the same faults.

Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly with the bolded, but it's not her fault that she got moved up so quickly. The sponsors and powers that be want what they want, and she'll make them the most money and get them the most exposure in a Cup car, so that's where she is.

If the #1 draft pick in sports ends up being a total bust, they can be blamed for sucking, but not for being picked first. The latter wasn't their decision to make.

Brads downfall.

Well it aint his brain, or natural driving abilities. He is a natural talent and a driving genius, a thinking mans driver that can get it done.

But he can be too nerdy and think a little to much at times. Sometimes he thinks the world has conspired against him too, a common Ford curse.

He also made a poor choice in also getting drunk after winning the title.
He should have pursued something more meaningful like lots of women. As an accomplished young man with $, he could have lived like an NBA star :Nothing But A...
One day he is going to regret those lost opportunities.

As for my guy Junior, his downfalls probably go without saying. He was quite the underachiever in the past, and the fact that he's not always the most articulate guy in the world has been pretty well documented.

As @Greg just said, my homie Brad sometimes talks too much, overthinks stuff, gets in over his head, and puts himself into stupid situations. The same can basically be said for Denny, plus he's a ****y mofo to boot.

I could continue on down the line, but we'll be here all day. Nobody's perfect and they're all still my peeps, though. :)

Well Ok and I appreciate the reasons why.
There has been Denny times at Pocono, Martinsville, Louden etc when he has been perfect. So much technically better that it wasn't much of a race. When he is on like that, there is none is better, or I cant think of any contemporaries being so dominant on a given day.

The ****iness is annoying and he also seems to give it with a strange mix of estrogen at times. It is a bad hair day and I just have to get on twitter or whatever and tell everyone it is the worst day evah.

I think the mix of ****iness and estro makes it too fun not to pick on him. Well at least anonymously on the net I wouldnt mention estro to his face, that would be stupid.

Regan Smith's downfalls-

I think he can be a little too cautious at times. While his 'passive' driving works well at plate races, a more aggressive driving style would be key to winning elsewhere.

Nice. @BobbyFord should enjoy that.

For my old guy, I think his weaknesses are well-documented and not worth repeating.

For the new guy (Larson), learning how to follow pit road speed limit would be nice.

Restarts with 17 to go... Lol apparently he can only nail 7/8

Don't worry dude. Logano wasn't going to win whether he got in front of the 24 or not. After a few laps Gordon was much faster than anyone else and there was too many laps for him to not pass the 22.

Kyle Buschs problem ?? ----------------------------- he wants to win

Chase Elliott is my guy and his worst races by far are at plate tracks. I dont know if its rotten luck or he just doesnt understand the draft well or what. They have had good cars at those tracks but he has not had good finishes. I think they ran him out of gas once. Otherwise, I know he has a lot to learn but he is way ahead of most understanding the big picture. The kid is not only talented but smart on the track for the most part. Just need to do better on the plate tracks.

I think Jimmie has a bit of an over-inflated sense of deserved "respect" on the track. He usually complains any time somebody races him hard when he's back in the pack, as if he's a God among the mere mortals who usually run around 20th. It's called RACING for a reason.

None. He's perfect.....as long as he stays in a Toyota.....Get back to me tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. Pacific.
