BIG HEADS ARE HERE! We'll have these at Saturday's #PostRaceParty!

Kahne sure is curvy.

How do you "know" that he's a hillbilly matt? Profiling again huh?
Did you look at the picture? No shirt + mullet + Virginia + CLIMBED A GODDAM FENCE AT A FRIGGIN NASCAR RACE!!! = Certified hillbilly. At the very least he's a dumb redneck.

Like I said, you're profiling and that's a nono. I hope his arrest record shows that he's a Wisconsin cheesehead.

Turns out he's a college educated contestant on your favorite show. He was pissed they booted him in favor of Michael.

Stereotypes are based on reality.

And rural Michigan is full of dumb white trash hillbillies who rely on welfare so I don't discriminate based on geography.

Sunday morning coming down a year to late.

You know a horrible thought has had to occur to Michael Waltrip, and Clint Bowyer, in the aftermath.

We didn't have to get the itches last September, all we had to do was a hire a whino, he would have probably done it for beer money.
Just set a discreet team member beside him and tell him when to start climbing.
And Clint would not have had to spin, along with all the other following issues.

Cheating wasn't the problem, they just sucked with the execution.

This fence climbing BS and the caution it caused leaves me wondering just how much ONE fan could influence the outcome of not only one race but the entire championship season. Not good.

I can only imagine the outrage if Larson would've lost last night's race due to this

True but fans can run on to football and baseball fields too, they can even obstruct a feilder going for a fly ball. The umpire can make a ruling but the natural outcome still is altered.

I have always thought racing is like life. You can have a great plan, but stuff and people will happen and all it takes is just one idiot.

Is it me, or did Kyle Busch and maybe Jimmie Johnson look bored in this commercial?

Scratch that, I think they were all bored in that commercial, but at least Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards tried to seem interested.

Talk about the hard sell.

Is anyone else getting the feeling this thing may backfire on nascar?

Eh, depends on how it plays out. If Jimmie Johnson wins his 7th cup, everyone will decry the system and blame France for making The Chase even worse. However if Earnhardt Jr. wins, it'll be hailed as the best thing ever. It honestly depends on who wins the Championship.

the TV ratings will tell the tale, that is what this whole dog and pony show is all about. Nations, challenger round uwwwaa, contender round, needs echo, and THEN the eliminator round, can ya feel the tension building, they sure hope so, and then the championship round. Who knows, it might work, casual fans might watch "the playoffs" and the super bowl oops the championship round.

Ask the Chicago Cubs about Steve Bartman.

..and, if Jr WOULD have won but doesn't, there will be hell to pay.

I think it's funny that they need a commercial to explain the Chase rules. Maybe if they didn't change the rules every year fans wouldn't be so confused and disinterested.

All the talking heads are telling us how exciting this format is and how it's the best Chase format yet. That is until Brian comes out with a new one, then they'll be telling us this one was garbage and the new one is the best thing ever.

I've been pretty excited about Nascar this year. I'm sure there will be some great racing in the chase. Each driver will want to be the champion even if some fans don't think it's a legit title. I guarantee it'll be legit as hell to them.

Pretty sure the throphy & paycheck as well as the prestige will make it legit. ;-)

Yeah, if Junior or Gordon wins it, this format will stick around. If Jimmie or Kenseth wins it, it might be going bye-bye.
