Whoa. I never heard of an engine running backwards. o_O
 
Not the impression I got...my impression it was running backwards a long time.

Jimmie Johnson is back in the car and apparently will go back out after the motor apparently spun backward for a moment during practice
 
#48 restarted but spewed exhaust smoke for a couple of minutes. JJ eventually revved it up and the smoke quit. Net is up and he's headed out.

Hendrick motor specialist says 'dieseling' / running backwards problem is happening with hot engines at the end of mock qualifying laps. Plan is to leave the engine in the #48 this weekend, pending further examination after practice.

with the new aero package is obviously better, I feel bad for Chad and Jimmie. They mastered the proper spring and wedge package of the car prior to the new aero kit. They won at big tracks, Pocono adnd Daytona, and tiny tracks, like martinsville.

Yeah ... I feel sorry for them as well. They've only won twice so far this year.

They'll never figure this out.

Don't feel sorry for them. They'll figure it out all too soon. Chad ain't no dummy.
 
We know Truex won't win so I'll take Kenseth. He's gonna win one at some point
 
So last week at Talladega I was working at racetime (my 6am)
So now I'm heading for late shift and they have a night race that I'll only get to see the start of. :mad:

Why can't Nascar work their schedule around me? :D
 
Of course, the one time I am going to watch Race Day, it gets move to Fox Sports Go because of boringball

They're trying to. The problem is they keep forgetting to turn their clock upside down. :p
