Anyone else stoked for Rain tires next year for the road courses?

They actually had the first-ever wet NASCAR oval race in the Whelen Euro Series at Tours Speedway (9-degree banking in the turns) over the summer.

Cool. Wet track, light rain. Cup drivers should be able to handle that.

Kinda odd conversation really . It seems that not overdriving your car on a wet racetrack shows a driver has great skill , but not overdriving your racecar on a dry racetrack shows a driver is points racing and not going for the win.

In both cases, the driver and team should feel an advantage to going all out and taking some risk to win. Watching Carroga? run the hell out of his slower truck to try and win was exciting. Hell, if his teammate had helped instead of hindering him, he might have won.
