Bowyer sues HScott Motorsports

Also it looks like HScott has found a buyer for their charter or they wouldn't be petitioning NASCAR to transfer it. I wonder when that 2nd JTG car will be announced...

Oh boy, I wonder how ol' Moody will spin this story after going to bat for Harry Scott last week. Probably just ignore it, seems to be his preferred way of doing things when it doesn't fit his agenda.

HSM took a big step back this year and I thought Boywer would at least contend a bit. Hope he gets his money and has better a better car next year even if it is a Ford.

They made no progress at all.

Boywer was promised some things that HScott did not provide all year. This is why I think HScott on the cup side is done.

I don't see him going to Xfinity or Trucks either. Think he'll just get out of the sport if Boywer wins his case.

I don't think he had anything to do with Chips Xfinity rides this year. Pretty sure that stopped after 2015 and its just Chip running that team now.

This explains a lot . That team seemed to start off the year great , but fell off badly . Normally that bad feeling comes down from the top.

When he said he was sick of running 25th every week, I don't think he was regretful for leaving.
Sorry, poorly phrased on my part. I think he regrets what Roush has become over the course of his career, that it's reach a state where he has to leave.

On the other hand, Bowyer must have known he was taking a step down from MWR when he signed. I'd have run Trucks for a year, but that's just me. It's not like he was keeping up his skills in that equipment.

I would've taken 5 Hour Energy and bought a ride at JR Motorsports in Xfinity.

Nah, if you're going to sit out Cup for a year, you might as well sit out as much as possible. Easier schedule, shorter events, much less pressure, maybe pick up an easy title.

Now I'm wishing for the early days when the Trucks were expected to be like golf's Seniors Tour.

Or Justin Allgaier with Brandt or Elliott Sadler with OneMainFinancial.

Jr and Kelley:

Yeah, I got that. I was seeing what you was laughing at. That he wants money that he's owed?

Yes, you know those guys who sign contracts with employers and expect to get paid as the contract stipulates? LOL at those guys.

I dont know, I feel vindicated for never liking this guy. This just further proves his nasty "me" first traits.

Talk about kicking a team when they're already down. And the kicker is that the driver is not much better either.

Would you sacrifice your salary due to sympathy?

Bowyer screwed up at Richmond, but he has already suffered enough imo.
I think he wins at least one 2017 race in the SHR # 14 cup car.

Someone's getting an early start on the 2017 Bold Prediction thread

He is not kicking the team while they are down , they owe him that money.

With what these drivers make? Yeah I would.

First of all, if I'm a caliber driver that would make that money in spades, I would have no issue to at the least letting the team pay me when they can somewhere down the line.

They did this guy a favor by putting him in a car when every spots were filled. They kicked Allgaier off this ride to make room for Bowyer. That's already a sacrifice they didn't see pay off since Bowyer didn't do jack squat in it.

Clint Bowyer is a snake and he has shown his devious ways tenfold already. He will continue to do so while he's in NASCAR.
