Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

I love it when a post refers to something as a meme or having gone viral, and I've never previously encountered it.
It was an observation, mostly on how things assumed to be universal often (usually?) aren't.
Follow any social media.....
Ah, but maybe that's one reason I DON'T follow any social media.

Like most of the pics, click on it for the full size version. This one would make an awesome wallpaper for a CE fan.

Many pit crew changes this season: In the next week or so [PitTalks] will be putting out the updated pit crew rosters for the 2017 season. In years past, there have always been changes, but not nearly as many as we are seeing this year. Very few crews are staying the same from last year and that could cause problems early on in the season. So why are so many teams changing? We don't know for sure but we can share some ideas!
1. There are fewer teams out there and more crewmen to pick from. In other words, there's more talent to pull from so teams are taking a look at what best fits their situation and making more moves than they normally would.
2. Money talks. Crewmen make good money and it keeps getting bigger. The incentive for crewmen to move around is more than it used to be.
3. Pressure, there is pressure for the guys to perform at an almost perfect level. When things turn south, personnel starts to change.
...And last but not least, there have been some really talented crewmen retire after last year and decide to move on from pit road.

That is awesome but... Is that legal?

Got these comments off the FB. They can adjust the wing on the go. Interesting.

Trevor Wilson Dylan Colding they can adjust the wing like that ?

Dylan Colding Yeah. It's a hydraulic system. Goes from the power steering system, either off the pump or off the actual steering box. Then to the wing valve then to the wing slider

Remember how reluctant he originally was to be active on social media?
He earned a fan in me when he jumped on Twitter. Dude's hilarious, and just a great all around guy.

I think it helped him on the track too. He's become less shy and more confident, because I think he truly realizes now that he can see it in person, that people are ok with him not being his father and confidence is key for Jr in a race car, he's said so himself.
