Aric Almirola

In 2013, Hamlin was out for 6 weeks with his L1 compression fracture .

This just sucks. Aric is my number 2 driver, and was on pace to maybe have his best season ever. Hopefully he picks up where he left off when he returns.

Carvanna just said on the Hub, RPM reached out to C. Edwards to see if he was
available through Sonoma, he said he was not.

I'm really anticipating something within the next day. I would imagine the top 3 choices would be back Biffle, Bubba Wallace, Casey Mears.

I'd try to convince Smoke to get in the car for Sonoma, especially since he owns a Ford team now.

I hope Reagan smith doesn't get it. He's everyone's fill in driver and always under performs.

What’s the guy with the nuts to drive dem bad open wheel things at the relic some 230 mph doin’? Surely a former RPM driver can step up.

Sam something er other. The boy's a Junior even.

So to this point we have suggested:

Edwards
Reed
Wallace
Biffle
Mears
Hornish
Scott
Stewart
Smith
Townley

Declined
Maybe

Maybe

Won't
Impossible with team limit
Maybe
Won't and why the f would the want him ha

Michael Waltrip seems like the best driver available. His average finish on the season is 8.0. He has finished in the top ten in 100% of his starts, leading all drivers by that metric. Restrictor plate racing is completely legit and Kyle Busch was wrong. Mikey would be a step up for RPM absolutely.

So to this point we have suggested:

Edwards: agreement prevents him.
Reed: a little short on experience.
Wallace: has been, to old.
Biffle: logical choice
Mears: to average.
Hornish: to old and did nothing with the chances he got
Scott: joke
Stewart: couldn't drive his own car.
Smith: probably would give it a great effort, looking for a better ride.
Townley: second joke on the list.

Isn't Reed running better in the same equipment?
Bubba has been killin it.

Bubba would be top choice if the cant get Biff. Only problem would be Sonoma where the Xfinity Series is running in Iowa the same week.

Exactly i just can't see Biffle declining this though. What could he possibly have going on.

I love Bubba too but people need to quit pushing him because they like him. The guy has been in Xfinity roughly 3 years, and hasn't won a single race. In that same time span, Chris Buescher won 3 races and a championship and Ryan Reed has shown improvement and won twice, while finishing ahead of him in points last season. Put my man Biff in the car
