For sure. Maybe they'll get some good equipment for him next week so he can be back in contention. Car looked good tonight for sure so they definately can use that as a meter for next week. Not the strongest out there tonight but definately better than some previous races this year. But that's the Gibbs stable as a whole right now too. Seem to be struggling a bit this year. Which was unexpected to say the least

He has won to many races to say they were accidents ..... he knows how to get it done. Wouldn't surprise me if he had the plan in mind a lap before the restart ...... he knew the 2 car was crippled and used that to his advantage. I have seen him go to the rear twice in the same nationwide race and win ......... the level of talent he has is amazing

Didnt say any were accidents. Dudes a wheelman for sure. But ocourse he had the plan. Its the first plan anybody thinks of in that situation lol. That's good old fashioned textbook stuff

Sometimes teams struggle when car specs change. JGR is a good organization and I think they'll figure it out before the regular season is over. JGR has some great people in the organization.

Oh yeah definately. Teams have bad seasons sometimes. But they've been the class of the field the past few years. They'll get it together I'm sure. And if theres anybody out there headstrong enough to make wins happen its Busch. Truex is doing well this year too. I cant imagine what they're doing differently but whatever they're doing is working. I feel like the dynamic of the teams really changed this year. Ganassi is running well, SHR stumbling a bit and Gibbs stuttering a bit. Definately a strange year for sure.

He just didnt have the best road to the equipment he needed to be competitive. Its cool how he landed on a smaller team and found traction. A few years ago it looked like smaller organizations were on their way out the door, but now they're doing something and its good to see. Even if they are backed by larger ones. Feel good stories all around

Kurt paved the way. Kurt had everything and essentially fukt it up.
He later proved that smaller teams could be competitive. Kurt has grown up a lot since he first got here.
Truex is a driver.
 
Charlotte is a fast track, and handling is always it's premium differentiator. But once they built cars that throw dirty air, and cannot be drafted behind, it doomed the racing.

That race has always been about bending rules and getting away with it. Jumping restarts, illegal cars, getting back up cars after the start.....

Is like to see the entry form they spoke of that is supposed to outline the rule on the tires.

Just accept they messed up, it was part of the rules and they will know better next time.

Kentucky and Michigan II last year taught us that the Toyota stable was struggling with the new spec package. Honestly, I think they came out of the box this year better than they thought they would. Revisions were due to start in Kansas (Win), continue with the All Star race (Win), and 600. #TrendingWell

Totally understand the rules are the rules, but seriously this is supposed to be fun to watch just let the teams do fun stuff. And what a dumb rule once they have been used how much advantage would these tires have
 
Friday night: CC radios to the 51, tear that truck up in the burnout.
Saturday night: CC radios to the 18, do only right turn burnouts.

Ya caught 'em. Tweet it out!.....and don't forget about missing 11 races and winning the Championship. Never forget about that! Damn, the black helicopter almost knocked my new cap off of my head. It's white too...don't want to get it dirty.
 
This thread is tl:dr. The race sucked and is a great reason to move the all star to a short track. If that is a preview of the 600 I may have to skip it.
 
I don't know....I sure had to wait for those hats......Remember those were the new old new getting better growing up more mature Kyle days. People liked him then. Those were hard times.
