Bonehead of the Race - Loudon 1

Sport 1 for going to commercial with 18 laps to go, missing the next 10 laps. They went to commercial again during Hamlin's burnouts and again shortly after the victory lane interview.
They also missed the last restart and didn't show the reason for the caution.

Kyle Damn Busch. Both the cautions for a car spin, they pulled the trigger way too fast, too close to manipulating the finish

Kyle gets the nod with an honorable mention to Marty for spinning his tires and screwing up a chance to win.

Kasey Kahne for running into everything forever. I know for dead certain he hit Jones on pit road and cut his tire, and it sure looks like he punted Newman for that last caution.

Kyle 'Speeding's so nice, I'll do it twice' Busch.
Yeah, especially just one week before an anniversary of futility... I was shocked to see the NBC graphic showing that, in the last five years, Kyle Busch has three winless streaks of nearly one full year, including the one that reaches one year next week.

Kyle B for panicking when he prob had it won. Like he said BK did Saturday . I so hoped after running his mouth it would bite him at the Cup race. Awesome.

did he give a interview after the race? Anyone got a link to his radio when he was told about his speeding penalty,,,twice. :lol2:

I'll go with the #48 for not knowing the rules he has been driving under all these years. The start of the race is covered by the flagman but you can't pass the pole car until the S/F line.
These guys may have millions but sure aren't the sharpest knife on the counter.
You could also call out the CC for not reminding him.

Jimmie was confused, it was the second fastest qualifier beside him.:p

I'm going with NBC for rarely showing intervals.
they don't pay attention to intervals, Jabberton was too busy being obsessed with the stickum, completely missed a pass for the lead when they went to a commercial and second place had been closing like crazy. I was watching the leaderboard and it was around a half a second closing.

What did he do? I didn't notice the 5 much today.
That's kind of the point. He ran top-10 until either the competition caution or the end of the first stage, I don't remember which. After that he quickly fell back to the upper 20s and stayed there the rest of the day.

Lol, par for the course. That sucks.

It may come as a shock, but the booth guys have nothing to do with what's on the ticker. Also, the commercial breaks are scheduled well in advance, esp. the ones handed off to the local affiliates / content providers.

This is NASCAR's stupid restart rules, IMO.
