Cup RACE thread --- Dover

Chase moved over for him. That really sucks. Poor kid was trying not to cry

Maybe switching numbers will be a sort of reset for Chase.

48 had a fast car too, gained 6 seconds on Chase that last run. Just never had the track position.

88 had some good speed to so Hendrick is on an upward swing. Lots of fast, even cars today. Was a good race. Chase needed that for morale though

Do you deny it gave him great track position that he never would have had without that caution?

Not sure if he is looking at it that way or gets that it was a tongue in cheek comment, and that I wasn't denying the drive. Just defending his boy, he's a new fan though, it's all good.

No, I don't really remember

Larson gave away some races, but I never thought he didn't deserve a top tier ride..
Let me enlighten you:

**** you Larson
Being a Larson fan must be infuriating. I only kind of like him and his never ending mistakes drive me crazy
Larson is a fool
Larson gives away wins like Halloween candy
Maybe one day Larson will stop choking..
He was a choke artist. Doesn't he still only have two wins?

Welp.... congrats Kybu fans.

That one will hurt for a while. I do however feel like saying a very long string
of horrible 4 letter words to let go of some steam.
But anyhow, Chase is still in the running and he will learn how to win at this
level sooner or later and when he does it will be that much sweeter because
lord knows he is paying his painful dues.

He got track position 2 hours ago but his car was terrible at that time.. I listened to his radio the whole race and watched it.. he didn't stay up front for no time because his car was trash.. him and his crew chief figured something out that nobody didn't .. that's what won him the race , patience and driving the he'll out that car!! His car was terrible all day

I really thought Chase was going to get it. But, Kyle was closing so fast it was inevitable that the 24 was going to get passed.
Had me pacing the floor and I haven't done that in a while.

Car was terrible all day? So without the caution, he would have been mired back from 6-10 lol. I watch the entire races on raceview. Larson had a 2+ second lead, and when he lost his track position, he went nowhere. Given the long runs, yeah, KB wouldn't have had the track position because he wasn't gaining on the leader until that last run. It probably would have taken him to a 3-5th place finish.

Takes luck to win races, and to be in the situation to execute. It doesnt take away from his drive. It was just a tongue and cheek comment that the caution went his way and put him in a position to execute a win. It's all good man. He was great that final run.

But with the gen 6, track position matters.

What does being new have to drive with anything ? That's NASCAR fans prob , just because you been watching longer don't mean anything . Your logic don't make sense.. you saying Kyle Busch won because of a caution 2 hours ago , come on man.. dude might of had good position for a couple laps his car was terrible at that time so it didn't matter anyways..

He didn't have to move over on the backstretch like he did. The car wiggled before.. you could tell he didn't know what to do there.

I think switching to #9 will be good for him.

Switching a number will make him run better?? Omg lol

You are missing my point. Forget it lol

Yeah, I agree switching to the 9 might help. It's obvious driving the 24 is putting unneeded pressure on him
