Return of the XFL???

The No DUI thing is going to bite them in the ass. Johnny Manziel playing in the XFL seems like such a natural fit and a way to generate interest in the league. No one wants a ******* "family friendly" football league.
And even if they did they wouldn't want it run by Vince McMahon

Yeah I am sad the GOAT can't play in the XFL.

I'm talking about the true GOAT Johnny Manziel...

The true GOAT and savior of the XFL is in this picture:

Isn't Tebow busy trying to play baseball still

The only way this league lasts more than 3 years is if they get solid fan backing. The only way I can see them doing that is signing Kapernick, promoting his causes off the field, but him standing for the anthem. That way they would please both the Kapernick supporters and the anthem people and they would have resolved a issue that even the NFL couldn't fix, thereby showing that they may have some good ideas. Plus, that could be some great PR.

ngl, if he plays and Georgia doesn't get a team... I'll likely cheer for the team he's on lol.
Heck I had a ton of problems with the first xfl but the only issue I have right now is the quality of the play. Of course, McMahon could get some players that haven't been 3 years removed from high school or a lockout/strike could happen in 2020 when the CBA expires.

In all honesty I agree with the preboys posters.
They need to get Kapernick, Manziel and Tebow.
Need names right off the bat.

I'm sure TO wants to play

Anyone here planning to watch this crap?
I'll definitely tune it at the start to check it out.
The fact they say it isn' goin to be gimmicked up makes it more appealing. As others have said it'll have s hard time lasting but who knows. Could be something decent to watch during the NFL off-season

Pretty much my feelings

Admit it, most people will watch the first week out of curiosity. Maybe even the 3rd week considering some rumors that the first week would be Pro Bowl weekend.

Starting on Pro Bowl weekend would be very smart of them. Most NFL fans couldn't care less about the pro bowl. Then Super Bowl weekend play games on the Friday/Saturday nights. I think thery should aim for weekly Saturday night games.

Well if you fail the 1st weekend you still have the 3rd week's slate of games for people suffering from football withdrawal (basically every football fan). This gives you two chances to succeed and get fans (allowing you to fail once) instead of one.

Oakland, St. Louis, San Diego, Orlando, San Antonio, Salt Lake City, Virginia Beach Area, Portland make sense to me.

Virginia Beach should have some sort of professional team seeing how it's the 41st most populous city in the nation.
