NBA 2017-2018

I really dislike The Warriors. It seems like they make the flukiest, dumb shots ever.

They have the ugliest 3 point shooters and someone the circus shots go in. They just chuck up a shot and it magically goes in.

That said, the Cavs made it that much easier tonight. They left the paint undefended all game long.

The Warriors is the only team that gets home cooking away from home. lol

Pathetic and embarrassing stat for Lebron. 9 straight NBA Finals appeareance and the bulk of them have been disasterous.

I get to still brag about my Spurs almost perfect stat while in th finals.

Really should be 6 for 6.

I'm not sure how fair that is to him. How many of his teams were better than the opponents? Certainly all of the recent Warriors teams are demonstrably better. LeBron's superhuman performance in these playoffs to reach the Finals was impressive.

Having said that, is part of the problem that LeBron can't coexist on a team that isn't so built for him only? Kevin Love is a much lesser player now than he was in Minnesota. Kyrie looked better in Boston this year than he did in Cleveland. I don't know. LeBron has given his hometown team more than they ever should have expected. If he wants to win another title, he may need to be willing to take a step back and let his teammates do more.

There are already rumors about him talking to The Warriors about going there and perhaps hooking up with Paul George at the Lakers.

The former would make me sick and probably quit the NBA for good. I dont know who they would have to get rid of in Oakland to make room for him there. The league would be locked down for a good decade at the least with a Lebron, Curry, Durant, Thompson and company.

A decade at least? Lebron and Curry would be in their 40s and NBA contracts also aren't that long

There hasn't been one word said here in the Bay Area about James joining the Warriors or wanting him to join the Warriors They're already tapped as far as the salary cap goes. Plus they have renogtiate Durant's contract over the summer that will pay him around 10 million per year more than he'as getting now

Houston would be a good destination for him too. Lebron, Harden, and CP3 on the same team might be enough to knock the Warriors off their perch.

It seems like the prevailing idea is he stays in the Eastern conference where the yearly path to the Finals is easier. Sixers are the most talked about destination currently.

I think Houston would be intriguing though. Also, if LBJ goes there, he doesn't have to keep racking up Finals losses if he can't get past Golden State.

Even the Spurs were able to win one without Kewhi against the Warriors.

This is highly embarrassing for James. I understand he needs help but damn.

Yes, that's my thinking as well.

The West is a brutal consference. He would probably get bounced out in the first and second round every time. You have to have a super stacked team in the west to even make it into the playoffs.

I'm calling LeBron to Philly. The Lakers, Rockets, and 76ers all have a good amount of cap space for next season, but Houston also need to re-sign CP3. He could certainly bring Paul George to the Lakers, but that still may not be enough to compete with Golden State, and you're also setting yourself up for a much tougher playoff run through the West. Philly has a good, young, talented core to work with and could really only be challenged by Boston in the East.

Kawhi wants to go to the Lakers now.

That changes things. Kawhi and LeBron together...ugh.

Damion Lillard may want out of Portland and the Lakers could be the destination.

LeBron to the Lakers. Meh. I guess there will be a good reason for me to hate the Lakers again.

And just like that the Lakers became the most hateable franchise in pro sports again. **** life.

Meh well the Sixers will just win a title our way #trusttheprocess

Why exactly? Lakers young core is ****** rad and we just got Lebron. This was nothing like KD going to the Warriors or the Miami super team...

Cuz it's the Lakers and LeBron lol. I actually like Kuzma, Hart, Ingram, Wagner...I hope Randle gets the hell out of there. **** Lonzo though, couldn't stand him at UCLA either. Fans are going to be absolutely insufferable.

Lakers are going to sign him next year and we will lose no assets :D
Dude stfu lol.

The bandwagoners are still on the bus headed west and I’m already sick of them.

I hated the Lakers with a passion in the Kobe / Shaq era. More due to Kobe than Shaq, but I couldn't stand how everything surrounding the league was tilted toward that franchise at the time. The infamous 'rigged' 2002 series with the Kings, who were so much more fun to watch than what the Lakers were doing at the time.

I agree that most of the young core is fine, save Lonzo. I don't like Magic Johnson post- playing career either. Dude was a legend on the court, but everything he's done since is what the phrase "failing upward" was invented to describe. I don't think he has any skill as an executive save his name and the pull of the Lakers franchise. I don't want to hear about how great of a job he did putting this all together, and I guess now I'm forced to root for the Warriors in the West even though I'm kinda sick of them, and would like to see them knocked off their perch too.

I was hoping against hope that LeBron would stay in Cleveland. I'm actually a little surprised at this news after hearing that Paul George re-upped with the Thunder, which I'm happy about. Guess he didn't get the memo. I'm sure Kawhi will be joining LeBron, and yet another superteam will be born.

I honestly think we are trading Randle and a pick for Kawhi.

I think they'll have to give up two current players if they want Kawhi ASAP. I don't know if they have any other teams' picks, but considering how good they'll be their own picks will be pretty useless in the short-term.
