with all the help and crew chief from gibbs where do you think matt will run weekly?? 15 to 20,better?or worse?it will be fun to watch

I Won’t be surprised if they become a Furniture Row type, Matt is definitely a good enough driver

I'd like to see him do well. Seems like he's got some personality, and that's a plus for me. Ya never know. He may come out of the gate fast at Daytona. It'd suit me if he does.

I mean the 95 showed this year they could be good at plate tracks, Kasey was leading not too far from the end.

He (Kasey) was in a good spot near the end of the Firecracker 400. So as recent as July the equipment could get to the front at a plate race. Maybe it will carry over in February.

The car will be equipped with a special Rev (JGR) limiter to moderate the lawd's blessings.
1. Preacher done done eliminated one TRD car that could beat him, don't want no more Miami Homestead in his face abominations.
2. Leavine needs the limitation as well to make sure to know the team knows it's place, and prevent a crippling TRD cost increase.

Matt is a solid driver. If his team can go the extra mile he could be in some serious money making situations.

I wouldn't be surprised if Matt DiBenedetto won a race or two. They're getting a lot of support from TRD and Gibbs.

Holy ****, man, do you think? I hope so. I really like this kind of team. Heavy TRD involvement with an eye to the future. I like Matt. It would be a great story. I am going to watch them closely of course.

I don't expect a whole lot, Hendrick gave them plenty of support and Kahne wasn't fast. I haven't seen anything out of Burrito that is going to change it. If Leavine can afford to buy a rent a racer from the preacher like Barney did, who knows.

..and Hendrick was so good last year.

...and you were able to evaluate Matt in the top flight equipment he was in. #TrainedEye

3 wins in K&N 7-8 years ago. 2 top tens in 68 races in the Xfinity, and 4 top tens in a 140 in cup. blue chipper.

...and you know that TRD increased its price?.

Relax, JGR and the greatest talent there evah, evah will be is no longer at risk of getting beat by someone with equal equipment.
Be happy the can't somebody make the 78 stop it, happened for Saint Joe.

TRD had nothing to do with the JGR charged...but what the hell, right? Doesn't matter if what you are saying is accurate or not.

and we know ol Joe doesn't manipulate races right? Taking crewman from Truex last year for looking sideways at Stephens was justified, and Denny gave up his pit stall gladly after he said he wouldn't. And just why does anybody think he was involved in the Barney deal?

OMG, I feel like I just got set straight by a TRDbot.
I just feel so devastate, now.

That was an epic counter-post. You have left me speechless. To someone who cares you don't sound as smart as I know you are. Just trying to help you out.

I thought you knew he was involved in the Barney deal--even though Barney said he wasn't. Now, you think he was? You are getting soft.

Quick, send me some of that JGR Kool aid, and please has the preacher to say one of them sweet prayers for me.

Same here. Keenly going to watch LFR. I like how things have shaped up for that team within the last season or two. They are transforming before our very eyes.

I think he will do a bit better than he did at Go Fas Racing, but I am not expecting him to set world on fire in his first year with LFR with being in their first year with TRD Poooowwwaaaa!!!, it may take some time for everything to be firing on all 8's.

15-20 range, nothing that sets the world on fire.
That high this season? 20 to 25. It takes time for a team to figure out what to do with equipment that's better than they're used to, even when they're having their hands held.

How do you know it will be better equipment? Teams buy the support they receive. Barney was buying almost turn key cars and had a TRD engineer on staff for comparison.

As I said in the same thread.....I'll go with the guy who has never needed someone to speak for him.....and nothing in that post indicates that TRD was part of the conversation which was the main point of my counter post, but you were too giddy with the anti-JGR stuff.

You got the last word, I stand by my post as you do yours.

Because TRD is down on car count right now, and WE need to build an infrastructure to run OUR young guns. The hot shots won't sign with a 20-25th place team. So, because WE got into the driver development business, WE might just consider significant discounts for quality TRD equipment. So, to your point, LFR won't have to buy as much as Barney....think MWR in its early days. We (as in you and I not WE as in TRD thus not in all caps) don't know how much of all of this is coming from JGR and how much is coming from TRD. If you believe the legend of the great buy out, it is conceivable that this JGR satellite might be getting some from JGR and maybe more from TRD than the victimized Barney.

You got the last word, I stand by my post as you do yours.

You don't have a word in reference to TRD and some kind of conspiracy to push Barney out. It didn't happen. The other stuff has been refuted by the victim, but much speculation opens the door for discussion, so I will give you that.
