Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

Did Hamlin's crew chief quit because Kyle gets preferential treatment or
because he got tired of Denny messing everything up with all his penalties?

There were some races that I thought only Harvick was racing. Didn't matter if he as 1st or 31st it was all they talked about. I would really like to see a stat showing how many times during those races they said his name.
I feel the same, only replace Harvick with Larson.

Pretty powerful picture here. I like it.

Since Kurt Busch car 1 announcement occurred i thought Suarez to the 41 announcement
would have followed about 2 days later.
That has not happened. What do we think we can read into that?

only thing I can think of is that SHR kinda thumbs their nose in the past about making announcements. They took forever to say if Kurt was going to race last year. Suarez has been making personal appearances for a SHR sponsor though FWIW.

Well, I hope you gents are right.
As for the paperwork, it seems they've had about a month to do that.
I think it was thought that Daniel was heading about a month ago.

^ that looks better than my highways and streets do this time of year.
Of course we cheat and use studded snow tires. :D

Glad to hear that.

Well it looks like now they are making us wait till sometime in January......jeez.

Any idea why the car number is on the first sheet, separate from the rest of the side panel decal on the second sheet? Doesn't that make it harder to position the number properly on the door?

In this piece Mr. Hendrick confirms what a bunch of us already thought:

"Nowadays, Hendrick is grooming 47-year-old Jeff Gordon—a four-time Cup champion and 93-time winner—as his successor. “That’s the way we’re going,” Hendrick said. “Whenever I finally step away, it’ll be Jeff Gordon in my place.”

I think it is sad there is not family to pass it on to.
