Somebody needs to make scale decals of those checkered flag stickers they put beside the driver's name after each win. Print 'em in a row of about 12 and the builders can cut them down as needed.

Random end of season stat. Interesting how a season/playoff format that could so benefit a past Champion of the sport can come back to burn him just a few years later. But, of course, they would have raced different. I mean, Joey would have simply turned it up several more notches and erased that 189 point deficit.

Later the same year, Tony Jr showed up with a 15/Bodine RC car. I was watching Tony Jr drive it in the parking lot of dads shop. Dad walked up, pulled his pistol, and started shooting at the car. Tony JR drove it as fast as he could straight out of range.

Dad pulled and fired his pistol one other time in the shop parking lot. A group of us were building street stock race cars. One dude thought he’d build a Ford Thunderbird. Dad put a bullet through the quarter panel and through the fuel cell. No fords allowed on dads land.

I saw that show, Charlie. Those birds are something else. Every Spring I have several falcon cams that I watch.

I had a friend long time ago that had a Goshawk and a Red Tail. He goes out in industrial areas with open lots and rabbit hunts with them. To get them back, he takes a chicken leg in his gloved hand and peels back the skin and holds it up so that the Hawk flying up there sees it and hits his hand with some force. He saved both of these as babies by climbing up in trees before the developers bulldozers knocked down the tree. It's a strange hobby if ya ask me, but it was fun to go with him a couple of times. They got some of the rabbits.
