The official RFFL 2019 thread (the former yahoo fantasy league)

For anyone having a problem creating an account or logging in try these steps. I just used it to make an account for my wife and it worked just fine.

Greg is out of the loop for awhile so I'll try to help.

Go to https://fantasyracingcheatsheet.com/ make sure that you're not logged in then click on the link just under the header. It should take you to this page https://drivergroupgame.com/ . Once again make sure that you're not logged in then click on "Sign Up". Fill everything out then click on sign up. Your new account will be created and you can log in. Be sure to bookmark the page to make it easier to find. I hope this helps.

Apologies to all for a response that is lacking.
To keep the explanation short, l am working about 60 hours a week. More than l expected, and on call 24/7. I have the work laptop open while typing this on the phone.

I am frustrated with the sign up crap too. I didn't anticipate it being such a problem. I was anticipating it to be simple, and actually trying to recruit some of the oid yahoo players by now. I want many more teams.
I do appreciate the league website and it is a free service.

If anyone feels tech savvy and wants commissner privileges let me know and I will entrust my password to one member to help with the clean up.

I do not anticipate any problems once the season starts. I will find time to post the weekly results.

Thanks Johali for updating everyone.

I wish that I was tech savvy enough to do it. But I'm not.

Commissioner-for-life @Greg,

I really don't see any reason for you to go to the trouble of posting weekly results as players can simply access the game's website to find race results and current standings.

At least that's what I do.

Same here.

Last year, weekly standings were helpful because one member started a week earlier than everyone else, and thus had a one race advantage in points.

Greg would subtract that player's Daytona 500 points when posting weekly standings.

Note to players trying to sign up: links on the first page are no longer accurate. This game has moved to a new website: https://drivergroupgame.com/

If you had an account on last year's site, chances are it transferred to the new site. The new site forced me to reset my password using "forgot password," then brought up the league I played in last year.

@Snappy D @dirtfan

@Greg - if you haven't already, make sure the link to sign up for The RFFL on this new website isn't last year's password.

Also, if a moderator (do we have any left?) could correct old links on the first page, that may be helpful.

@Johali

If you created a new account for your wife, were you able to add that account to The RFFL 2019 league and if so what password did you use.

I created a new account for test purposes and found that RacingForums2019 didn't work as a password for that league.

@Greg

whatta say, whatta know ?

The password to join the RFFL league didn't work for me this time either but it did the first time. Maybe we can get it straightened out before the end of the week.

I just received word from the geek. The password reverted back to the original one. It works, I just logged into it for my wife's game. We're back in business gang. :beerbang:

It's RFFL2018

Uh oh, just saw this. I think I have room for two fantasy leagues! Let me check with my brain and
give it some thought.

Excuses excuses. :D
I followed the links above and registered. Can you see if I show up as registered when you get a chance.
It took me to a dashboard that says DDG League. Was I at the right spot ?

Yes, but you have to register in our league also. On the left of the DGG pick the players page you'll see a list of options. Just below "Other Stuff" you'll see a link "Join League". Click on that and below the "select league type" header click on "private leagues". In the search box under "Private Leagues" Type in all caps just like this THE RFFL 2019 the league should come up under it. Click on "go there" and it should take you to the sign in pass word page. In the password box type RFFL2018 just like that. You can play both games, DGG and ours or either one. I hope this helps.

Thanks ! I will give it a whirl..... Success! I am Hotrod'19 (made me add more characters to my name).
I will look at instructions and rules during the Duels. Still doing Switch Racing too.
Along with my sportscar pickems I will now be in 3 leagues. Maxed out - lol.
I still like watching pjmolo's pick ems from a far, I am still on ulcer meds from a couple year ago- (kidding).

For those looking to join the game, here's complete step-by-step instructions.

Go to: https://drivergroupgame.com/ and then click on the green "Sign Up" icon in the lower right corner.

Fill in all of the blanks (you must scroll down) making sure that your game's "username" is the same as your racing-forums.com member ID name.

Also, be sure to make note of your e-mail address and password for future login purposes.

Confirm that you're not a robot, click on the "Sign Up" icon again and you'll be directed to the login page.

After logging in, you'll be directed to your game's dashboard where you'll find that you're automatically entered into the DGG (Driver Group Game) League.

To join The RFFL 2019 league click on the "Join League" icon on the left side. It'll take you to League Directory page.

Under "Select League Type" check on "Private Leagues" and then enter The RFFL 2019 in the search box.

Click on the green "Join" icon and on the next page enter the League Password: RFFL2018

Voila, you're in.

Just so I understand, there isn't an overall standings in this new game? Or is that what the DGG is suppose to be? Like if I make my picks in the RFFL only and leave my DGG picks empty, then the only competition I will have is the other members of this league and not every single person who is part of the Driver Group Game site? Not sure why they would make it to where you have to make selections for each league you are in.

Once again I am very thankful to @Johali for the help. He has been incredibly great to say the least.
Thanks @pjmolo too.

I have every intention of posting the weekly race results like l have the last three or four years. I believe a record of the seasons highs and lows race by race helps to maintain a greater interest.

The current league standings.
(If you are having sign issues please send me a PM.
I will respond asap and definitely within 24 hours.
Asking early this week is better. But we will work to the last minute to get everyone in.
Hang in there, your patience is appreciated)

There's still time to sign up @Snappy D , @dirtfan and anybody else that wants to join. We have the right directions and passwords now. We need the competition. :D
