Cup RACE thread --- Phoenix

Why not? He has 51 wins, a championship & is still just 33 years of age.

I mean he already surpassed my favorite driver of all time Tony Stewart in career wins. A couple more championships for Busch & he's in the convo for top 5 of all time.

Check out his achievements on the wiki page. It's ridiculous.
Because Tony Stewart's first 13 years were better than Kyle's first 13 until he retired.

Kyle got out won and out titled by Jimmie and out won for 14 years, out won by 30.

You spend the majority of your prime getting beat, you don't have a case for GOAT.

They really are going to push Kyle’s 200 wins vs Petty’s 200 CUP Wins. Unreal, it’s not the same. Apples vs Oranges

Do you have any idea how marketing works? It doesn't have to be true, it just has to get attention.

18 was the best car. At least there was some solid intrigue during the last half of the race. I was honestly fairly entertained.

Larson nabbed a couple spots at the end. Elliott managed a top 15

I don't necessarily disagree with this statement. However, Kyle entered the series as a teenager. Jimmie won his first title in Kyle's rookie season. By then they where teammates. Kyle's career took off when he left that organization to join Gibbs & in his first year there won 8 races. He was still 20 years old that season.

I could be wrong, but wasn't Tony 28 or so when he started cup with Joe Gibbs? I know for a fact Kyle was 18 and still sporting peach fuzz..

They were talking about how you cant compare them though
Except they've spent years building up the Mr. 200 crap. They've been building this up for years...and not it's "Oh wow, hold on! They're different!" And they'll build up the 'Chasing History' 200th win prospects all week leading up to Fontana too.

Buescher gets me a P16. I really can't complain, that's pretty much where he ran all day long. Would've been nice to see him get that top 15, but I guess Ty was quicker.

So far I'm doing better with the C list drivers in the Pick 'em game.

I’m not sure Kyle has left his prime...

...and we all knew they would. Fake drama

Idk AD pitted on the same lap as the 18 19 and 12 and was 9 laps short. Blaney was sputtering and didnt crack 3/4 throttle to finish the race.

Brad getting that good of a finish without a track bar, WOOOOOOOOOO
and his crew chief wanted to park it

But, the 18 still made another lap, a burnout and I assume to victory lane. If I was in my truck on the highway I would run out of f gas equal distance between exits.

Lmao did FOX seriously just show us a replay of his VL celebration, then miss it completely and continue to the second interview?

That is incredibly sad and slack ass broadcasting.
