The official RFFL 2019 thread (the former yahoo fantasy league)

I thought that I would try to disprove my theory that making last minute driver switches always comes back to haunt you.

So, shortly before the race started . . . .

Kyle Busch (finished 3rd) replaced Keselowski (2nd)

Jones (13th) replaced Hamlin (10th)

Blaney (22nd) replaced Bowyer (14th)

Ragan (28th) replaced Buescher (18th)

The last two columns on the overall standings are for @The Teach. Reminding family members of your superior performance on a daily basis is highly recommended and encouraged.

Thanks to Harvick I stay 3rd but lost a little ground. The other 3 drivers of Wallace, Bowyer and JJ killed me.

And I thought that we were buds. You just wanna see some bloodshed.:mad::mad:

I'm looking strong this week. 3rd straight week on the pole and have 4 drivers starting in Top 11. Harvick, Blaney, Hamlin and Hemrick. Let's go!

I finished 3rd....again, but did well enough to move into overall 2nd place. ROY (Nickname: Wonderbread)

Brentford is CRUSHING IT! He'd be leading the 79 person money league I'm in by over 40 points! He's ranked 17th in the DGG league! Nice performance dude!

I am an idiot for trusting Byron last week :owquitit: Getting unlucky with Dibenedetto I could handle, at least it was the right pick, Byron was just a bad pick. And, then of course slotting Harvick in for Kyle.

I've gotta be honest, I'm not feeling too good about this weeks race. My drivers are good drivers, but none of them have shown consistent speed this week which made it tough to pick.

My 3 week streak of the pole was snapped...clearly didn't go with AD. But I do have all 4 starters in the top 18 and one in the Top 5...so we will see.

Darn! Not sure why I gave Johnson a chance after saying what I did about him a couple weeks ago on this thread. Also sucks that I wasted a Hemric pick, but the guy doesnt finish near as good as he seems to run. Buescher seems to be the top C driver this year.

Hemric comes through! C list is killing me. I'll just be happy I didn't go Bowyer and move on to next week.

Seems like I'm consistently mediocre.

Only player in the league without so much as a top ten finish yet less than 20 points out of the top ten in the standings.

See a lot of picks for Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick @ Texas, along with Logano and Keselowski.

Meanwhile, I'm the only one to pick Truex.

:dual9mm:

Lead change! Blaney hurt me as did Hemric. I may be done with Hemric. Like I said before, he is fast most weeks, but never finishes well.

Just a miserable day. Had good starting positions but Blaney and Kez just crapped the bed. Ugh.

I rotated between KB/Kurt and Kez/Blaney about a dozen times, was tough decision, all were real strong on practice averages, finally settled on KB/Kurt. 100+ point decision, but still didn't makeup that much ground. KB/Kurt didn't score huge, and A Dillon dropped back farther than he had run all day for me 14th. Buescher too, finished top 10 stage 1, fell back to 20th and Ty Dillon closed the gap down 21st in C-List.

Congratulations to "The Teach" this weeks winner.
The Teach also has a league leading average points per race performance after missing the Daytona 500, and a top 10 points result for all races entered.
