2019 –Michigan Firekeepers Casino 400-- Pre-Race Thread

Which implies you, like I, hope to watch it after work tomorrow.

I should have saved last night's Indy race for this afternoon instead of watching it over breakfast.

It's going to be one of those days where the jet driers get about halfway finished and then the rain starts again.

PGA has three tied for the lead and three more one stroke back. That looks like a good alternative.

Crossing my fingers we get some racing today! Looks like just some light rain but we all know that even the lightest of showers will wash away the track.

Hourly forecast so far is 40-50% rain all afternoon. Raining steady here on the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Small window between 3 to 5 pm where it will be cloudy, but it will pick up around 6 pm.

I doubt I'll be able to watch this race, especially being a night shift guy if it happens at 5pm on Monday, I have to be to work at 6pm.

Yeah it may open up. No point in watching the forecast, just watch the radar

DW will be missed.Would love to see Dale Jarrett leave NBC and take DW's Place in the booth he was great at espn and should be in the booth on NBC not wasted on the pre and postshows.

Probably not popular with most of you, but this is what I am pulling for.

Watch them try that on a Monday postponed race in the next couple years... it’ll be the prettiest day all Monday morning and afternoon and then late showers force them to miss the Monday running...

Obviously they want majority of people to race over to the track after work. It still works against a person who has traveled hours to get to the race. They’re making calls that benefit “a fan” that lives 30 minutes away... not a fan that drove 2+ hours.

Let me get with 2019... the calls don’t benefit the fan who “Uber’d” 2 or more hours...
