2019 Russian Grand Prix

I love it when Hamilton is struggling because that really brings the best out of him.

Still, it's alarming to note that Mercedes has gotten outrun three races in arrow row. I don't think that's happened in the hybrid years.

You have to wonder how much losing Lauda has hurt them.

Vettel and LeClerc have got to be pretty close to tied in points by now. Where is the balance of power going to fall with those two?

Hamilton puts himself on the front row again. Guy is a monster for not having the quickest car over one lap.

Should be very interesting again tomorrow, long run down to Turn 1 and I expect Mercedes will not flub the strategy this time.

Leclerc is una bestia!

There is no stopping this kid. That said, the start of this race will be something to behold. I expect cars wrecked by the first corner. Hamilton must be feeling tire of eating dirt by now, Vettel is in the process of reasserting himself within his team and Bottas...well he'll just lock the **** up per par.

:lol2: I'm just having way too much fun with this.

Looking for Leclerc to seal the deal in the race! Hopefully, Mercedes will be denied podiums again. That would tighten the constructor's battle, for sure.

Apparently there has been another hard crash in F2, the sprint race is currently red-flagged for an incident involving Nobuharu Matsu****a.
They are not showing any replays of the incident, not good.

update: They are now reporting Matsu****a is OK.

Ferrari already talking about swapping? the****...

This is how you reward a guy coming from third?

Look at Hamilton closing up because of Ferrari slowing down. 5 seconds to 2.

What is Bottas even doing? He's already 15 seconds off third place. Horrible

I meant he should retire from F1

I know what you meant. I was just being apropos for the sake of the moment.

This latest stunt by Ferrari should make everyone feeling sorry for them when they were getting beat by Mercedes a distant memory. Ferrari have always played dirty games. They deserve to DNF the rest of the year. They dont genuinely race the way you are meant to.

Vettel had a great start and made the lead on his own pace.

Ferrari should be ashamed of themselves, Vettel had earned every bit of that lead.

Unbelieveable.

I dont get that "strategy."

Were they counting on Hamilton having a so so start? If Hamilton had a chance to duck in behind Leclerc then that would have been moot. Vettel didn't benefit from any tow. He benefited from having a great start.

I think Vettel would have a lot more fun spending time with his daughters than racing in F1

That's what I don't understand. Leclerc thought he gave Vettel a tow, which is weird af because Vettel just nailed the start.

I guess Ferrari wanted to ensure that Ferrari had a driver to fend off Hamilton and Bottas, if need be. I just do not understand why they were so hell bent on swapping positions? It makes absolutely no sense to swap positions when Vettel pulls the hell away. Ferrari is absolutely confising, no need for ****** politics, let them race.

Mercedes is certainly not getting away.

The race director for this race is particular trash. He's muddling watching a race in 15th place.

No Leclerc definitely doesn't deserve second place so I hope Bottas puts his racing boots on tight. Out of here with that nonsense.

K-Mag still has a tendency to overdrive and over-defend.

The Haas is a piece of **** car though. He's like a turnstile with race pace wise.

Albon's got pace man, he needs to put it all together for a weekend IMO.
