Autumn/Fall begins on Monday, September 23, 3:50 AM EDT. It may be up North but not here.

First day of Fall is tomorrow and the forecast calls for a high of 82. High 70's low 80's for the next week.

We had fall for a little while but the death ridge is building back in and they're saying long range forecasts for record heat again.

The last two summers have been miserable.

For the last several days we have had great temps and low humidity in the am, 68 to 70 and by 4 to 6 pm heats up into high 80's.
Perfectly normal for Florida this time of year.

I work 2nd shift on the waterfront.. Lately it's been 70s going in to work and high 40s to low 50s. People look at me strange when I walk in with a jacket....

70's and low 80's for the rest of the week here in N Cali.

Also got a little more snow over the weekend in the Sierras. Opening day at Kirkwood is just around the corner and got my season pass in the mail on Friday.:D

Mt Lassen sure looks pretty this morning.

Best I can say about down here in Central Florida is, it has been way less humid and a nice breeze that actually feels nice. Hi temps in mid 80's. Early mornings are very pleasant of late.

But, we could sure use a shower or two pretty soon, getting dry fast.

The last time that it rained here was on August the 10th. Highs have been in the mid to high 90s and lows in the high 70s for month's.

July 4 was the last real rain at my house -- and then just barely floated the cork in the rain gauge.
For me, it's not "real rain" unless the ground under the trees gets wet.

Same in PA it was in the upper 30s last night

Local news is saying don’t go outside. Unhealthy air everywhere. Everything is on fire.
I’ve been outside all week. I need the pay.

The weather outside is frightful.. well, maybe not to most, but is cold this morning.

Brrrrrrr That cold front is headed this way. We will lows in the 20s Wed morning.

Looking like the tradition of skiing with pops in the morning and eating roasted turkey and all the fixings afterward will continue on Thanksgiving. It doesn't get any better.:D
