2020 Xfinity Series News

Jeff Green is going to be back at least for Daytona and Talladega.

Man, Jeff Green has had one hell of a weird career. The guy hasn't had a top 5 at any level of NASCAR since 2002. That's over 400 starts between Cup/Xfinity without a top 5 finish. Considering this guy was the 2000 Xfinity champion, drove Dale Sr's #3 Goodwrench Chevrolet prior to that, and was a full time Cup driver for Richard Childress after.

Should’ve retired a decade ago. Driving start and parks and junk mobiles for 10 years made everyone forget his previous success.

Former champions like Bill Elliott and the Labontes did this on the Cup side.

I could see Jeb getting a win. He ran good for them in limited starts.

I think I would rather race a backmarker car than sit at home and watch somebody else do it.
That depends. If I'm still making even a little money, sure. If not, there are other options besides those two. Robert Presley may need someone to work second shift at that hot dog stand.

I think it is going to be another good year with some close races. Briscoe, Cendrick, Allgaier, Gragson, and Hemeric is back part time and duh, duh, duh, duuuh, I think they will all be chasing this guy, the knight of melon, Ross Chastain

I think Briscoe, not Larson, will be the guy to take over the 14 after next season. The guy is way too talented and Ford has put too much money into him to not move him up
Is that your Bold Prediction, that Clint Bowyer is out of the #14 at the end of the year?

One mission. Anybody know what it is?
To be the Applebee's Heavyweight Wrestling champion! LET'S DO THIS!

Xfinity SNews

The Big Three have stepped up and out -- X hype is just saccharin...

If NASCAR decides to use the 14-turn course, including the chicane inside oval turn 1, the seats in that corner are going to be pretty good.

They are going with the big Indy course. :pbjtime:

UPDATE: Among the other changes and updates announced at the R&D briefing:

  • Xfinity Series director Wayne Auton said a 2.41-mile, 14-turn layout will be used at Indianapolis for the series’ first race on the Brickyard’s road course.
  • Officials also settled on a tire combination that’s also used at Road America and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. No organizational test is planned on the Indy road-course layout, but teams will get an extended practice session on race weekend.
  • There are no changes to Xfinity Series aero package for the 2020 campaign. Auton said 37 full-time teams are expected to participate this season.
