I remember back in 1971 they didn't drop the green until 1:27 pm.
It was just a wonderful day. They caught the windstream just right and the entire race was run in an optimized perpetual perfect state. It was "Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful"

The actual time is like the points, every one of them counts and you had better damn sure better get it right, if you want to get in a good race.
It was Bill France's secret. I never heard anyone complain about his time keeping.

I keep looking at the radar wondering what the heck they are doing wasting time. Get these cars going! It's like they want rain to be a factor in this thing.
 
Sweet voices for the GBA, invocation, clean and straight .. Anthem .. A little weak on the high notes, and she just doesn't have the breath control of a professional .. but definitely sung as it should, no warbling or yodelling. I give it an 8+.
