Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

@AdoubleU24

For you more than your boy.:lol2:

Easy! Just make it look like the design in my avatar pic, or like Kulwicki's car, or Loy Allen's....

"The Great Food Truck Race"

seems to have misleading.

Two Off Seasons -- crap...

On here before someone posted an awesome website where you could buy quarter panels, hoods and even noses.

Can anyone on here remember the website?

Nice find! Lots of good stuff on there, especially if you're an SHR fan.

There's a Bobby Labonte decklid on there for $250. That price is a little steep for me, but the seller is local to me (~15 min) so I'll be keeping my eye on that.

Four or five years ago, there was a guy at a local antique show that had a large piece of Ricky Hendrick's #24 Dupont car he raced a few times in the Busch Series. It was almost the whole driver's side, wheel to wheel. I think it was even autographed. The guy was only asking a few hundred for it, I can't remember how much exactly, but it was crazy cheap. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it.

is dead awesome.

Hope springs eternal for the smaller teams in Nascar. Especially for Starcom, Carl Long, and Spire Motorsports..:D

So far, every cup race this year has been won by a "double number" car... Daytona 11 Hamlin. Vegas 22 Logano. Fontana 88 Bowman. If this trend holds for the rest of the year, surely there will victory lane celebrations for the 00 of Starcom or the 66 of Carl Long or the 77 of Spire. Remember, you heard it here first..:dual9mm:
Hmmm...
Daytona #11 Denny Hamlin / Gibbs
Las Vegas #22 Joey Logano / Penske
Fontana #88 Alex Bowman / Hendrick
Phoenix #22 Joey Logano / Penske
i-Atlanta #11 Denny Hamlin / Gibbs
i-Texas #66 Timmy Hill / Carl Long

A coincidence? I don't think so.:idunno:

Was anyone surprised that with equal equipment Hill is now a winner?
A bigger question is where is Kyle B. :sarcasm:

Hill apparently has 675 + Iracing "wins".

So ... he is vastly more experienced at this form of online virtual reality than almost all of his competitors. If he bags a couple more, will there be a flood of complaints from fans because beating people up in the minor leagues?

on a computer. I think he will get the Byron award and we all hope he keeps his garage store wheel setup and continues to spank the big money guys because that is just the way we are.
