Here's a topic I came up with just for fun...

For those of you who follow motorsport outside of NASCAR, who is a foreign driver in another series whose driving style resembles that of one of our own biggest stars?

An example:
For me, I'd say that British Touring Car Champion Jason Plato - who holds series records for race wins, poles, fastest laps, podiums - reminds me a lot of Kyle Busch. He goes for the win in each individual race however he can, even if it ultimately proves to be detrimental to his overall championship hopes. I say that, because despite his vast experience, he has long held a reputation for some borderline dirty driving. Yet, his rivalries and successes have made him a very polarizing figure... see why I said he reminds me of Kyle Busch? :p

The only foreign drivers I even know are F1. Even though I watch it hoping Bottas can beat Hamilton and they both can beat the Ferrari’s, it’s hard to get a handle on “style” since the biggest race in thos races is the one to the first turn. After that most passes are circumstances (pits, car/engine failures/wrecks). Most, not all.

In stumped mostly because I don't follow foreign series as much. I do sometimes call Danny Dietrich the Kyle Busch of the Pa Posse, because he wins a lot and is highly polarizing.

Hamilton reminds me of JJ with how smooth and calculated he is on the track, but not too much off of it.

Pastor Maldonado could easily pass as F1's old Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Justin Allgaier - Thomas Lüthi
Both couldn't do **** at the top level of their sport but they won several times in the second tier series after returning.
That's a good one.

Marco Simoncelli was Tim Richmond.
