Xfinity RACE thread --- Texas

Can Kyle overheat in 7 laps?

He just picked up paper.

I’m sure Cindric is learning a lot from Kyle from 11 seconds back.

Lol - can’t ask for a better jump than that.

Another Xfinity win by the 2 time cup champion racing with a bonafied cup team.

He’ll probabaly hover around 10th-15th place in his cup race again. Much easier on Saturdays.

Y’all just don’t understand, Kyle racing Xfinity is just Bob Bondurant v 2.0.

I'd be a lot more upset if he had screwed up Allgaier's chance to get a win, as it was, pork chop didn't do that much damage.

I like these Xfinity races because they're more chippy and guys don't seem to be afraid to be aggressive even early on. I get that some of this simply comes from inexperience on the part of some drivers but regardless it usually makes the racing more interesting than Cup.

NBC is serving the KyBu love with a ladle.
It isn't right. NBC is to Kyle Busch what ESPN is to LeBron.

Rick Allen, last homestead compared Kyle to Dale Sr. And then had the audacity to specifically ask Jr. About this. Dale clearly had to put on his PC voice there. But with the 48 retiring, there is no driver in the field with GOAT potential, like there is in every other sport so NBC needs to drive that narrative, despite how lacking Kyle's resume is compared to the GOATs of the sport..including one who is still active, whom kicked his ass for 16 years.

This is an NBC issue more than a Kyle issue. In 2016, Rick Allen was theatrically selling the 48's history as well.

NBC's production is better but their coverage of the sport is just so bad, so transparent and so agenda driven that it feels inauthentic and makes NASCAR feel like pro wrestling. It's disappointing.

Great comparison, ESPN is continuously on their knees for Lebron

Yeah, fortunately, it isn't THAT bad for Kyle. But it's clear he is favored by NBC, Rick Allen, etc.

I think Dale and Burton genuinely put up with him.

Rick Allen embodies everything wrong with NBC's coverage imo.

I can't stress this enough: it is of my belief and biased opinion that Rick Allen is the worst thing to happen to NASCAR in the history of the sport.

I think he is absolutely God awful. From his obvious lack of racing knowledge and insight, to his polished Saturday night RAW voice, I think he just gives the sport a bad look. How can new viewers tune in, and take the sport seriously when you have that and the Dale and Jeff gerbiling it up?

Get this. I watched the 2016 Martinsville race in the Chase..Dale Jr was a guest commentator and his voice was very neutral and NOTHING like the high pitched accent driven voice he uses during NBC's broadcast. I just don't get it.

Andy Petree was the best broadcaster we have had in a while.

I miss him and Alan Bestwick the most. What happened to Alan?

Two more wins for The GOAT before he gets the big 100 and bows out of Xfinity competition... maybe...

Anything to keep him from reaching 100 and quitting the series amiright?
In my experience, you are not right. I thought the same thing about Dale Jr for years... Give it up. You'll feel better
