ARCA at Bristol

Yeah, agreed. Each week I think less and less of her.

Honestly, when you factor in everything, her ARCA performances are only slightly better, if not on par with Natalie Decker.
She doesnt impress unless its a bullring and then she runs over as many as she passes

I love everytime they go to the pit reporter she sounds like shes standing by an exhaust pipe

ive been in the infield at the cup race and you cant hear anything,i think hailie is doing a great job ,had a clean run tonite.

she never once threatened for the lead and most of the time looked like a 10th place car until others had issues at the end and she garnered a 6th. She did bring it home clean but I'd rather have a few dings and challenge

yep, she is leading the rookie of the year contest and she had another good night. 3 top 5's so far this year

Already the first female to win a race in the former NASCAR K&N Pro Series, Deegan was also the first female to win rookie-of-the-year honors and established a record with her second-place finish in the West championship in 2019.
Deegan, daughter of X-Games freestyle motocross legend Brian Deegan, scored three wins in her two seasons in the West with Bill McAnally Racing. All three wins – at Idaho’s Meridian Speedway in 2018, and at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Colorado National Speedway in 2019 — came with a pass on the final lap.

In its 68-year history, no female has ever driven into victory lane to celebrate a win in an ARCA Menards Series race. Before 2020, only Shawna Robinson and Erin Crocker-Evernham came close. Robinson finished second at Daytona in 1999, with Crocker taking a trio of runner-up finishes in 2005 and 2006.

3 top 5's and 14 top 10's this year.

ok, shes the tallest midget. Dare I say shes more than likely the best funded female in KN and ARCA history. None of what you posted changes the fact that she is running against a field that only has 4 full time cars and she is the only one that doesnt have a win. Several drivers that have 4 or more less starts have more wins and more top 5's then Deegan.

Just points out the lack of opportunity for people that aren't white males in stock car racing. And if they get a chance other drivers start channeling this guy:

Races with 15, 19, and 14 cars, and she had to drive through someone each time. When she ran the East Series, she struggled to get a few top-10s. In the car she was in and the funding she had, her only competition was Derek Kraus and she finished third in points.

I don't want to just see a woman be the best female racer, I want to see a woman be one of the best racers and regularly in contention for wins - like Erica Enders in NHRA, who has won three Pro Stock championships and is considered one of the best drivers in NHRA.

Who said anything about woulda, coulda? She hasnt. No same old ****, I was a supporter of Danica and my posts back it up. I call it like I see it and she as of right now is not as good as people think. If you are gonna play in the big leagues you better expect to be critiqued.

I'm waiting for "so in so deserves that ride instead of her" straw man next. We have already had to endure the "she's disappointing", "She's not that good" the anybody can win with the competition she has to race with yapping so far. Like I said, same ol **** different day

I'm not saying someone else deserves that ride. It's only ARCA.

Hard to win against Sam Mayer, Chandler Smith and Ty Gibbs, but she should have more than four top-five finishes across her 22 career ARCA starts.

I knew the misogyny card was coming at the slightest hint of criticism about the Dirt Princess, from Danica critics no less. :XXROFL:

Doesn't have to win in case you haven't figured that out yet.

I never said, nor would I say that.

So to be clear...she is TOO aggressive and yet NOT aggressive enough to win. Do I have it straight? But this guy had just the right amount of aggressive? Wasn't too rough?

No that guy had talent beyond most others. He won races at the top level with or without dumping someone. You are trying to compare a champion who won races against the best in the business with an upstart that isnt in the same stratosphere talent wise.
