Cup RACE thread --- Talladega

Reddick with some SICK driving through the wreck!

Custer's car stopped Kurts car from flipping

If you didn’t blame Joey earlier, don’t blame Clint here.

Both times those two was at fault, but keep the same energy.

NASCAR needs to seriously work on the lift the cars have when turned sideways. Every time one of these cars gets pointed nose first into the wall they typically get airborne.

Otherwise, the safety of the impact into the wall and the designing/positioning of the flaps to push the car back down is fantastic.

Yeah? I feel like the lift is better now than ever. If we had the gen 4 car, both the 18 and the 1 get totally airborne imo.

Lol what? These two incidents happened in different areas of the track and under different circumstances. Nowhere near the same.

There was no one on his bumper. Surprised Jr is making excuses.

He and Jimmie have been buddies back to like 2001

This is like the third or fourth time Bowyer's wrecked Jimmie. Reminds me of when he wrecked Jeff Gordon multiple times, but Jeff was the bad guy for retaliating.

Both times drivers was pushing someone into the wreck and being really aggressive. It’s okay, you hate Clint, I get it.

In this case, I think it was the impact from the trailing car that launched Kurt.

You’re saying a car from nearly 30 years ago is not as safe as a car today?

I for one am shocked.
