What does the board think about

I don't think there is enough material for all that and it could be filed under "other racing". It's a short season, I doubt that it will be covered very well by the press. So far the coverage has been by Ray and Tony. But whatever :idunno:
I'll be shocked it it lasts more than one season. People prefer drama filled reality shows. Even strippers are mainstream on weTV. Two shows.

I don't get shocked, but if a third of Nascar fans tune in to watch I doubt if the series is going to go anywhere. The IROC series was on from 74 to 2007 for example. SRX is a bit different, but it isn't that far away from what the IROC series was. I happen to think it is leaner and meaner. When you look at the fads of all of the talent shows now, they were popular back in the 50's with the exception of large amounts of silicone embellishments they didn't have in the 50's

Maybe it needs it's on topic in the short track section. They're only running short tracks, right?

yeah dirt and pavement short tracks and anybody can start a sub topic thread in that section
I figured this is a little bigger since you have Champions from all racing disciplines at the highest levels to being televised live on CBS Sports.

Kept my marbles in a purple Crown Royal bag.

Had the crest and gold tassels.

Da-hamn that's a great heads-up, I am going to be learning more about weTV in the next day or two

There's nowhere near enough information to justify an SRX specific forum because there's no driver-sponsor news, there's only six events, no contract speculation, and also NASCAR won't be officiating it so we shouldn't have much to debate ideologically.

They will be selecting local drivers to compete against them so thats intriguing in itself. I myself focus more on the racing and technical side instead of the business end. I'm sure by the second race the SRX sanctioning body will probably piss someone off. ;)

And having a forum for it effects none of you in anyway because you don't need to click it if you don't want to. It has plenty of news if you actually follow them. So I say do it.
