Manufacturer loyalty...

Can't find the part where he sold stuff to Toyota.

"If he also had a side deal going with Toyota _ as Dodge alleges _ Davis had the ability to open up Dodge's playbook for Toyota to study."

There's more articles and information about this on the web and I'm not going to dig through pages and pages for you, but maybe @Spotter22 can chime in if he feels like it. Sounds like he was in the garage during that time period and would probably be able to speak to what happened and the impact on BDR. I mean it basically started the beginning of the end for that organization.

Hell, Bill Davis got fired from Dodge for building Toyotas behind their back. Acting as if he has some type of manufacturer loyalty to Dodge or Toyota is insane.
And then Toyota didn't stick with him either. Why? Probably because when you know the team owner is willing to leak information to a rival team then you only use that owner for as long as you need to, or else maybe it's your information that gets leaked next.

Think about it. Bill Davis along with Red Bill and MWR were the three premier Toyota Cup teams at the beginning. Toyota had a strong partnership with MWR but why did they leave Davis hanging? Hmmm.

Also for the stuff I posted for Revman, read between the lines about how they initially fitted a Dodge engine into the Toyota they built. That means the Toyota mounting points and everything would have gone on to be the exact same as the Dodge mounting points that the prototype had. Funny how a Toyota front clip and a Dodge clip ended up being the same design.

You have anything on the settlement, or just the Dodge allegations? ....and Jenna Fryer's reporting. Epic.
