Didn't expect the 21 to be this strong today. Thought the 9 would be stronger

Is everyone on the same fuel strat?

Or are the guys who stayed to end of stage hopeless? I stepped out.

Bad call on the 24/5/8 to stay out end of stage 2.

I get the 5 for points racing, but the 24 is the best car, and seemed to have everyone covered today. Staying out would have given him track position and equal tires with the 21, 18, 9 with superior track position.

That's potentially back to back poor race calling themselves out of a win. Not sure what Rudy is doing. Odd.

Leaders are gonna have to cut the stage in half. 16-17 laps they can go on fuel, I believe. Still out right now, but I'd think the top 3 are gonna need to pit soon. Probably will have to push it to about 15 to go if they can, I'd think.

Hate to see another fuel conservation race lol

I respect his drive to never giving up to being in Cup. He was a laughing stock back in 2015, but look at how he's grown as a Cup driver. Just grinding with these smaller teams to improve. You got to respect it, but that's JMO.

I don't listen to his podcast but I like LaJoie as a driver. He has come a long way since spinning several times in several races for BK in early 2017.
 
Considering how well Wisconsinites seem to have gravitated to the Cup weekend.

While it will never be the same as Fourth of July weekend under the lights at Daytona, I guess I can live with Road America as the 4th of July weekend race, just will be hard to replicate the 60 year tradition
 
I still don't understand why the 24 didn't pit with the 9, 18 and 21.

Everyone should be good to go on fuel with this caution after these stops.

Pack that cell up as much as possible and send it.
