True, there is always the phrase.."at Nascar's digression". Pretty much covers it. Yeah I missed the date, But speaking for one who never admits they are wrong, on the other side the street is not clean by a long shot. It is what it is.

Deep down everybody knows THE ONLY REASON Elliott wasn’t black flagged was because NASCAR didn’t want to compromise The Show, so they compromised integrity instead.

You experts think that Nascar just threw the dice and came up with this playoff schedule and turned Nascar upside down by pure happenstance?

What’s that got to do with Martinsville not being Atlanta?

What you’re saying is the problem though. NASCAR is willing to manipulate outcomes and selectively enforce rules or enforce non-rules as rules depending on what’s best for selling tickets. Which is fine for an entertainment company selling a show instead of a sporting event I guess. But let’s call it what it is … WWE.

When a caution comes out, it’s because there’s a hazard.

So now we’re saying it’s fine if you drop debris as long as NASCAR has time to throw a caution. Not a precedent I’d like to see.

What I’m saying is, it wasn’t a danger to anyone hitting it. If he was around others, I’m sure he gets told to come in. It’s not exactly right. But it’s not a because it’s Chase thing

It’s because The Show needed the caution to come out so he could get back in it and have a chance to wreck Harvick.
 
Nascar has been pulling publicity stunts forever. Plenty of wrecks, fights if you can call them that, crazy fans, whatever. This has been going on forever and will continue. Elliott wounded, hauling ass with his big ass bumper cover flapping in the breeze is fantastic TV and great for the fans in the stands. Will he or won't it hang on until the stage end? Ain't nobody that can deny that had everybody watching. Let the haters do their thing, it's what they do. It is going to get way more WWE for them to enjoy before this season is over. The rest of us will enjoy the hell out of it

If I want to watch scripted entertainment packaged as sports, I’ll watch AEW Dynamite.

Apparently I need to watch F1, the World of Outlaws and the CARS Tour to watch racing.

There are NASCAR related trending topics on social media. For the second weekend in a row mind you.

We may not agree on what the sport is doing but I think we can all agree that NASCAR knows what it’s doing to drive free PR - for better or for worse.
