Maybe ARCA with a few of these drivers get a win a bit faster than Trucks there’s still some talent at the top there, ARCA you get a bit more experience less pressure.

I think 18 year old Jake Garcia is one to watch. Drives for Bill McAnally and is currently 12th on the Truck Series points list in spite of missing Daytona … ineligible. Also pretty well connected - Chase Elliott drove his # 35 truck in the first race on the big Speedway.

Garcia qualified 4th today at Kansas … right behind 2 KBM trucks and 0.114 sec behind his team mate, Christian Eckes, the pole winner.

McAnally’s trucks are right there.

Some notes: The 22 of AM Racing withdrew. 1-Wallace, 7-LaJoie, 41-Chastain, 47-Cram, 51-Byron, 75-Kligerman.

Bill McAnally’s trucks qualified 4th and 5th. This team is coming.

18 year old Jake Garcia had never seen this place before today.

As a long time Darlington observer, what advice would you give him?
"Race the track." Don't use up your tires on the first ten laps. Like another track that's a new one for a rookie, if you find yourself behind someone with plenty of starts here, pay more attention to what he's doing than to anyone coming up behind you. For cryin' out loud, don't get confident or comfortable. Hopefully his spotter will keep him focused for the first two stages.

But what in Hell do I know? I'm just another butt in the grandstands.
