2024 NASCAR Schedules

I'm kind of burnt out on schedule talk. Chasing the shiniest newest thing seems to be a cluster, I get at this level its adapt or die, but the simplicity of the old way of knowing when they were going to be racing and where at the time of year, that clockwork seemed to be taken for granted. Some call it stale and it may have been to most, but I cant imagine the difficulty of the behind the scenes of trying to piece together the 2024 schedule when the pieces arnt seeming lining up. I have empathy for those guys and gals trying to get 2024 schedule going and released, crazy how one piece of the puzzle can send it all scrambling.

Texas would be great if they just repaved the place. The 1.5ers are the best tracks in the sport now... Texas is a disaster from all the PJ1 they've been putting down over the years

Texas is not on the 2024 IndyCar schedule. It's starting to sound like the next Texas race will be in the spring. If they decide to make any changes to the track, it will take place after that. We'll see.

Bianchi said on his podcast that Texas is going to be in the spring.

Kyle Busch weighing in on Texas. Rumors TMS is going to be Atlanta-ized?

Gods, please no. Atlanta reconfiguration didn't improve the racing at Atlanta and it won't improve the racing at Texas. Honestly if you want to improve the racing at Texas, repave the track and get rid of the PJ1 compound that's still on the track. If they must reconfigure Texas, reconfigure it back to the way it was before the reconfiguration in 2017.

Agreed on all accounts. We finally get a good package for the 1.5 mile tracks and Texas is messed up and they turn Atlanta into another pack racing track.

Didn't see anyone mention this nugget from DBC this week. Which is surprising given the number of Iowa lovers here. But apparently there's a chance that if Montreal doesn't happen that Cup could go to Iowa.

With this car, I’m not excited about either.
I mean I've never been excited for Iowa they just made a bigger Richmond. This seems to only be case if they can't get Montreal, apparently they are having a bunch of issues which keeps pushing it back.

Awesome. And RIP to the rumors of Bristol losing the spring date to NWB

!!!!!!!!!!!! An incredible wrong has been righted. There should always be a place for Cup to race at the most famous speedway in the world. Let’s Go!!!!!

The road course wasn’t bad, but if you’re a primarily oval series it only makes sense to use one of the most famous and prestigious ovals on the planet. Glad to see this has been righted and hopefully the car makes for good racing.

This looks like the final race before the Olympic break too.

"History" for Indycars, for Cup it's bad racing. This wasn't a wrong that needed righted this is making a mistake. This race won't be good and acting like it's special doesn't make it so.

I don't want to hear a word from anyone about this and if it's not to expectation.

I don't have a horse in the fight, I like both configurations. Let's see how it pans out with the Gen 7 car.
