Motorcycle racing makes me a little uncomfortable lol
I work part time as a flagger at a track that does go karts and mini moto for bikes and nothing is more terrifying than watching little kids in the youth limited class of bikes where half of them have no idea what they are doing and the rest are about ready to move up and they are all running in a pack.
23 year old Bill Elliott scored his first career top 5 finishing 2nd 2 laps back in a number 17 Mercury for his dad.
damnit right before the time of year j actually use it too.

I get an email from Hendrick Motorsports every week offering race used tires for sale. Today was for the Bristol tires which I find kind of funny as they would be very tattered.
Do all teams offer such a thing and wouldn't Goodyear want to keep these to study? Guess not.

I'm pretty sure they have to turn in the unused ones, but they probably let them keep the race used ones.
As far as wanting to study them I'm sure they take back a few sets. But just think how many sets HMS went through last night on 4 cars.
They'd be a cool talking piece..... Like can you remember the Bristol night race in 2025.....

I get the same email. It’s always interesting how fast they get them up for sale and the emails sent. Almost before the race is even over. Everything is about money in the end.
