Bonehead of the Week: Talladega II

Think I gotta go with Ty Dillon ... again.

Honorable mention to Carson Hocevar who is probably about to draw the ire of Rick Hendrick.
Hendrick engineers. They talk so much about the “team” they have calculating fuel mileage etc. They were fast enough to not have to pull that ****.

I've got a second one, this gimmick called the GWC. Yesterday when the 17 got punted, the 24 and 5 were running 1st and 2nd, and they were one and half laps from the finish. If the race had finished the advertised distance, that's where they would of finished under yellow. It happened at the worst time possible, during a playoff race, and could have repercussions in the next few weeks from one GWC.

Another 'feature' that no other form of racing thinks is worth adopting.

Talladega just keeps on giving.
Austin Hill for flipping off the crowd after win. Heard about it on DBC with Jimmy Spencer.

I was going to pick Denny for basically stopping in the outside lane to turn left and pit. That could have caused a big crash. But I'm going with whoever figures fuel mileage for the 5.
2025 will be remembered by Hendrick Motorsports as the "Year of the Unforced Error". Who needs competition when you keep inventing new ways to beat yourself?
