Man it looks like most of the trucks are primarily sponsored by the manufacturer themselves. Talk about going all in

I think this will be a good test for Justin HaleyI didn't expect much with that episode when they said they were going to run VIR with late model cars? They have recruited every driver but one who have only raced on short track ovals. The Trucks have 5 road courses in their schedule and they have only one guy out of the bunch to try out with road racing experience. I'm at the point to where I hope the Dodges don't get humiliated this year. Their only hope is Butterbean and I think they will screw that up. No confidence at all in Chris Rice and his management style.
To be clear they didn't get rid of restrictions but they did loosen them up from 5 to 8 races for 3 year or more Cup drivers. I believe none for the Championship races. Daytona is a big money race, it's going to bring sponsors and non full timers.I'm so glad we got rid of Cup driver restrictions.

It will be interesting seeing how some of these drivers will adjust.Big news. The twisted sisters in the Truck series are gone.
Corner speeds will be down, harder to drive, more competitive I would think for the smaller teams who don't have aero engineers and equipment. Good drivers will still be up front. I noticed the change when Xfinity did it. The racing didn't suffer. It will be interesting seeing how some of these drivers will adjust.

Show of hands, who's surprised? C'mon, hold 'em up until I can get them all counted...Smoke may do more races for Ram.

Tony Stewart's future in Truck Series is 'open-ended' ahead of return
Tony Stewart originally planned on making a single Truck Series start for Kaulig Racing, but now his future is open-ended.fanbuzz.com
The hat on backwards wasn't a problem when Jr. did it. It's all different now.I just watched episode 4 this morning and the first thing I thought when I was saw Christopher Jr. was "man the backwards hat isn't a good look"
Some the guys in nascar really get it. Look at Brad K and Carl they almost always remove their sunglasses and address the reporter by name. Then you get a guy like Jeb Burton that might not have the most talent/success, but he understands sponsorship. To me it looks kind of dumb but Jeb will take off his sunglasses and put them on his hat backwards so he doesn't cover up the sponsor logo on the hat.
Yeah nobody else is Dale Jr.The hat on backwards wasn't a problem when Jr. did it. It's all different now.
From Jayski.Have we seen an entry list for this race yet? Has to be a good number of trucks going home
Raising hell and praisin' Dale for sure.NASCAR might as well put Garrett on a personal services contract. He’s the “Hell Yeah” poster boy.
Same here. I thought the fix was in for Mini Tyrrell about two or three shows into the series. Ferguson the one dirt guy in the bunch who had never raced on any of the tracks or raced any of the equipment was ahead in the standings the final race against all of the other guys who that was all the equipment and tracks that they had ever raced on. Impressive to say the least. At least Ferguson gets one race at Martinsville for second place and he won the 50 thousand dollar race.Liked the show, just wish they would of had drivers from different series instead of Cars Tour.
With the 42 -44 minute run time of each episode, it was edited for broadcast. Maybe they had a partner initially, or they are hoping to run it somewhere in the future.Same here. I thought their equipment that they raced with was far from IROC specs. They had to shut that up after the first race when Chris Rice jumped down the throat of a driver that pointed out the performance difference the first race.
All in all, I thought it was worth watching and something like that should be a program on the Nascar channel.
