I am so glad I went to Homestead in 2019 to see Kyle win the Championship. It still doesn’t even register that he’s gone. I had slowly become a fan of his over the last 7 or 8 years. It just doesn’t feel real.

Not sure how much, if any racing will get in this weekend. I just saw a weather forecast saying rain is 90% chance today and tomorrow along with 50% Sunday.

Indy is also 50% chance on Sunday.

Eh, it was like chips and salsa, or bread sticks. Nice enough while waiting on the double entrees but not having it wasn't going to affect my meal.

Besides, with F1 on Apple now, I'm not willing to pay for it even if it was still the opening act.

A soldier playing Taps on a trumpet and the 21-gun salute always get to me. There is something sacred about it. I want to believe it should be just for a soldier; they deserve our respect and gratitude. They paid a price that is far beyond anything I have ever sacrificed.

But in all honesty, hearing it this year before the race will be even more difficult.

Me too, this is one of my favorite weekends of NASCAR and I am just not excited now, its going to be long weekend.
