2012 Indy 500 Race Thread

I wish they ran the 500 and the 600 on different days - It'd be cool having half a dozen NASCAR guys in the field + Danica.

well I am screwed. I can not get a feed it is 12:30 AM here. ESPN does not recogmize the net provider, the speedways video only gives me the audio.

The PC is in freaking Chinese cant set anything , just sitting here with headphones. PIA.

Well you both win the predictability award but I'll just assume that neither of you know the answer.:)
Given the crappiness of the race over it's history, and the well known fact that there really is no good place to sit at Indy, I'm just passing on what I can. Although the Indy 500 is on my bucket list, I also have the common sense to know that I'd be going there for the event, but not to see the race. It's well known that no matter where you sit, you only see whatever part of the track you're sitting in front of.

I can get ESPN.com video anywhere... just plug in my ISP info and, viola. :idunno:

I understand all of that.

Surely some seats must be better than others.

I just want to go because it's an historic venue.

Um....I take it you've been to China?

No, but I had the same problem in Baltimore that Greg has in China right now. But there are only two or three providers that allow you to access ESPN3 from anywhere (including foreign countries). Verizon is one of them.

I am using someone else PC, and everybody is asleep. I am afraid to do anything to snoop around everything is in Chinese, I could blindly mess something up

Yeah, I was just wondering if your home ISP would let you login om there, but I think Verizon FIOS and Time Warner Cable are the only ones that allow foreign access to ESPN.

Whatever you do, don't start any international incidents over there. Hell, I'm suprised you can even get on here.

It'll have to be Newgarden or a Ganassi car if they do. Right now Dixon is moving up.

I may be wrong. There are a few Hondas that are pretty fast right now. A lot of guys have been moving up, but just like St. Pete, ABC hasn't shown any of it.

Marco is stretching out the lead now...looks like he's the class of the field by a good bit so far.

If he wins I might just have an RC Cola and a Moon Pie in his honor between races :)

Personally, Andretti is the last person in this race that I care to see win.

Honda power in 2nd and 5th now - Sato is cookin - up to 4th!

It would be funny to have watched "Back to Bataan" pre-race - then see a Japanese dude win the 500.

Thanks, My mon is really worried about the communist getting me no joke.

But I have seen more stuff than I anticipated, I didnt partake just saying. The culture is not as decadant, or as sensually driven as needed for a fulfilling purpose driven life. But the generation under 30 is getting it, and based on the way the younger ladies dress their lives are improving and the inspring moments are on the rise.
