They should say he's lucky to be in a really good GREEN car to keep from offending FRR.
 
My wife is pissed, Alan brought the 24 in and pulled a spring rubber and took 4 tires and went out 21st.He would be in deep sh!t if she could get to the pit box.
 
If it stays green for 15 or 20, the 2 will be OK. Much longer, and he may end up a lap down.

Once again it's JJ on 4 new trying to catch the 2 car on older tires. But he'll get him if it stays green.
 
Of all the 1.5 mile tri ovals Charlotte is my favorite. It has character, the 600 hundred milers, the bump between the fourth turn, and the dog leg, it looks narrower, and more difficult. The cars look faster than they do on the other tri ovals to me.

But more than anything it has a ton of good memories for me. I saw Petty a run a Dodge there in 77 or 78, Pearson in the Wood brother’s car, Parsons in the number 72, the old Kenny Childers coal mining car and Cale in Johnsons car while he was defending the three consective titles . They did call Darrell "jaws" in the day, and there was an article in the program to confirm it, he won in the Gatorade car with Buddy Parrott as the crew chief. It is the place were Dale took a few Winston’s from Elliott and Martin, and I loved those moments.

I don’t celebrate Fireballs death at Charlotte, but it is part of the history too. I also seen the first night race there when Davey won the Winston, Gordon getting his first cup win when he won the 600, and I saw Juniors win a winston too. I even saw Michael Waltrip win a winston

I have spent more time at Charlotte than any of the other track Sprint Cup tracks; I can’t help being sentimental and feeling fortunate to have seen all it (note I didnt see Fireballs wreck, but he is one of the greats to huge to omit)
 
Why doesn't the #2 try to save fuel and hope to get to pit with the rest of them under caution?

I can't figure why the 2 is running the bottom. Wouldn't he want to save his tires a little by running the top?
 
Kez is doing everything he can to get under JJ's skin. I think he noticed how JJ came a little unglued with Kurt racing him hard at Pocono last year.
 
I bet Brad is saving a little tire and gas to get back on the same pit sequence. If he runs the top, that's what he's doing for sure.

I dunno all of my brain was wrapped in writing my last post ( a true windbag). At charlotte I think the low grove is best. That is one area to watch for Kasey Kahne imo, if anybody makes that work I would bet on him. Maybe Kez is fishing for later use in the race, but the track will probably change with the tempatures imo.

Net result, I just have a lot of opinion that doesnt mean anything yet.

Probably something like taking whatever they offer.
 
Is Chad trying to set up fuel strategy? He's risking a lot running those tires this long.
